摘要： A palladium-base catalyst which can selectively hydrogenate highly unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds contained in small amounts in an olefin compound prepared by steam cracking or the like of naphtha without causing hydrogenation of the olefin as a side reaction and the precipitation of a carbonaceous material. The catalyst comprises palladium and alumina, and the exposed face of each palladium crystallite is mainly accounted for by (100) and (110) faces. Further, in the desorption of adsorbed hydrogen by heating, desorption peaks are observed in the temperature ranges of 40 to 90 °C and of 120 to 170 °C and the ratio of hydrogen desorption amount of the former to the latter is (4 : 6) to (3 : 7).

摘要： Procedure of olefin hydrogenation in liquid phase in the presence of homogeneous catalysts that contain, as essential component,a titanocene of general formula Cp ¥ CpTiR₂, Cp^CpTiR₂, Cp^Cp [CpTiR₂]₂, or Cp^Cp[Cp ¥ TiR₂]₂ where Cp ¥ is a pentamethylcyclopentadienyl, Cp cyclopentadienyl, Cp^Cp are two cyclopentadienyl rings linked together by a dimethylsililene (Me₂Si), and R is an alyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or alcoxide group containing between 1 and 20 carbon atoms or a halogen atom, a PPh₂, CH₂SiMe₃, CH₂PPh₂, or H.
These catalysts are very active in the hydrogenation of linear and branched, internal and external olefins, cycloolefins and diolefins. In addition, they are able to selectively hydrogenate double bonds of diene groups in conjugated diene polymers and copolymers, of medium molecular weight between approximately 500 and 1,000,000 and, in particular, the random copolymers and styrene and butadiene or isoprene block copolymers, containing the latter at least one styrene block and a polybutadiene and/or isoprene block.

摘要： An improved process is disclosed for the conversion of natural gas into middle distillates. In the process, natural gas is converted into synthesis gas or syngas consisting essentially of carbonmonoxide and hydrogen. The syngas is contacted with a series of three catalyst beds comprising of an admixture of oxides of copper, zinc and aluminium in the first bed, an oxide of aluminium in the second bed and silicate salt of a rare earth metal in the third bed. From the aqueous phase, the olefinic hydrocarbons are separated and then converted into oligomers boiling in the middle distillates range by contacting with solid oligomerisation catalyst. The oligomers in admixture with hydrogen are then converted into middle distillates by contacting the admixture with a hydrogenation catalyst. The middle distillates are well known for their varied applications as fuel and illuminators.
