摘要： The invention comprises a versatile AC dynamo-electric machine (10) comprising isolated dual stators (50 and 50B and 50C), each both concentrated windings (53C) energizable with single-phase AC, and main windings (53) and a single high inertia sleeve (75) and drive plate (74 and 74A) connected to a rotor shaft (70 - 73A). The sleeve contains independent electrical rotors (80 and 80A), one for each stator. Each rotor has an innermost layer (82) of magnetizable permanent magnetic material in which the concentrated coils in the stator produce a desired pattern of magnetic poles reacting with the rotating field of the main windings. The machine can function a) as a synchronous AC motor, or b) a constant frequency output dual AC generator or c) as an AC motor-generator with long ride-through time. A UPS system (100) comprises the machine (10) in the motor-generator mode, with clutch means (124) to connect an engine (114) to the rotor shaft (73A) to start the engine.

摘要： The alternating current motor stator (2) of a polyphase motor has each coil (9) wound of at least two separate conductors (10, 11 ). The terminal ends (12, 13, 14, 15) of each conductor is encoded for separate circuit interconnection to other conductors of other coils of the motor stator. The coils are inserted into the stator with a single coil side per slot and appears as a conventional chain winding. The bi-filar wound coils have the encoded ends connected to obtain the benefits of double delta winding connections. The coils are paired and selectively connected to each other by speed responsive switches to define a double delta run winding with the phase windings connected in parallel and a double-delta start winding.

摘要： The invention relates to a vacuum pump drive (12) comprising at least one electric motor (18) which is connected to the rotor (14) of a vacuum pump (13) via a drive shaft (16), a frequency converter (20) which is electrically connected to the motor (18) and which supplies a motor input voltage to the motor, and a switchover device (22) with at least one electric switch (24, 26). The switchover device (22) is designed to connect the motor windings in a star or delta shape depending on the switching position of the switch (24, 26) in order to change the motor characteristic curve. The vacuum pump drive also comprises a measuring device (32) with sensors for detecting physical operating variables of the vacuum pump (13) and a controller (30) which is electrically or optically connected to the switchover device (22) and the measuring device (32) and which is designed to actuate the at least one switch (24, 26) on the basis of the measured value of the operating variable of the vacuum pump (13) in order to produce the star-delta switchover.
