摘要： One embodiment of a credential manufacturing device (100) comprises a first hopper (110), a first processing path (124), a first processing device (112), a substrate shuttle (120) and a shuttle drive (130). The first hopper (110) is configured to contain a plurality of card substrates (122) and includes an output port through which individual card substrates are discharged. The first processing device (112) is in the first processing path (124) and is configured to perform a first process on individual card substrates in the first processing path. The substrate shuttle (120) is positioned between the first hopper (110) and the first processing path (124) and is configured to move relative to the first hopper and the first processing path along a horizontal shuttle path (126) that is transverse to the first processing path. The shuttle (120) is configured to receive individual card substrates from the output port of the first hopper (110), transport received card substrates along the shuttle path (126), and deliver received card substrates to the first processing path (124). The shuttle drive (130) is configured to drive movement of the substrate shuttle (120) along the shuttle path (124).

The paper-sheet-loading device 1 is provided with a discharge-processing portion 7 which discharges the booklet or the like through a discharge portion and a discharged paper stacker 8 having a loading stage 80 on which the booklet or the like discharged from the discharge-processing portion 7 is loaded. The loading stage 80 is provided with a tray 81 on which the booklet or the like is loaded and which can be pulled out from the front side of the device and an auxiliary loading member 80b closing the lower side of a rear side of the tray 81 when the tray 81 is pulled out. The auxiliary loading member 80b has a shape after a loading face 81a of the tray 81 and becomes exposed continuously from the lower side of the tray 81 to the rear side thereof, thereby enabling the booklet or the like to be loaded without losing its balance.

摘要： An apparatus for modifying a traveling position of a paper web in a paper web processing machine is provided. 摘要： An envelope feeder for a printer having two aligned conveyors moving at different speeds is disclosed. An upstream conveyor moves a backwards slanted procession of envelopes having aligned upper edges onto an inline downstream conveyor that accelerates the envelopes along a curved upper edge so that by the time any single envelope arrives at the printer ingestion or feed slot, the envelope is almost completely flat yet supported upwards slightly so that the pickup roller of the printer can easily and reliably ingest the envelope for processing. Due to the speed of the downstream conveyor, envelopes are continually and reliably presented to the printer to avoid printer stalls. The configuration reduces the amount of skill and operating labor required to establish a high-speed envelope feed source for high-speed printing.
