摘要： A pH measurement device includes working and reference electrodes. The working electrode has a linear electrically conductive substrate (11a), at least a distal end surface of which consists of platinum (13), and a selective hydrogen ion permeable layer (14) formed on the distal end face of the substrate (11a). The reference electrode includes an electric conductor (17) formed to be insulated from the working electrode and surrounding the working electrode, a polymer-silver (1) complex layer (18) formed on the outer circumferential surface ofthe conductor (17), and an ion-conductive layer (19) containing an anionic compound and formed on the complex layer. The pH of a solution is measured in accordance with a difference between a potential of the working electrode and that of the reference electrode.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for reacting a solution of a precipitating medium of alkaline metal chlorides at a fixed rate of delivery with plasma continuously separated from blood, filtering the precipitate formed by the reaction, removing the solution of precipitating medium from the plasma following the use of the medium, adjusting the purified treated plasma, and returning the purified plasma to the blood in an amount equivalent to that of the continuously separated plasma. To enhance the precipitative separating action of alkaline metal chloride on plasma protein without detracting from the advantages of the alkaline metal chloride, use is made of a solution of precipitating medium comprising a mixture of the alkaline metal chloride and an amino acid, the latter being added in an amount sufficient to promote the precipitating effect of the alkaline metal chloride.

摘要： According to the invention, there are provided novel amide derivatives and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors containing the same as an effective ingredient. The above-mentioned compounds of the invention have been demonstrated to possess 5-lipoxygenase-inhibiting activities. These compounds can inhibit the production of leucotrienes such as LTC 4 and LTD 4 which are allergy-inducing factors by inhibiting the activity of 5-lipoxygenase. Accordingly, the amide derivatives can be used as 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors effective for allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis and the like.
