摘要： A low noise amplifier having a wide operating frequency band and a high dynamic range is provided. A transformer (25) having a secondary winding connected between an input terminal to which an input signal is applied and a positive differential output terminal (PDO), and a primary winding connected between a negative differential output terminal (NDO) and an input node (NI) is provided as a feedback circuit between a cascode amplifier circuit, which includes transistors (27, 32) and a resistor (36), and an output circuit, which includes a transistor (37) and a constant current source (38). Selective use of a transformer whose leakage inductance (L) has an adequate value as the feedback transformer (25) can realize a low noise amplifier which has a wide operating frequency band and a high dynamic range.

摘要： In a double-loop negative feedback low noise amplifier having double negative feedback paths by a feedback transformer (23) and a feedback resistor (44) added to a cascode amplifier comprising transistors (24, 27) and a resistor (30), a phase compensation circuit comprising a capacitor (42) and a resistor (45) is added between the output terminal of the double-loop negative feedback low noise amplifier and the input terminal of the cascode amplifier, i.e., the input terminal of the input transistor (24), and a phase compensation circuit comprising a capacitor (43) and a resistor (28) is added to the upper-stage transistor of the cascode amplifier, i.e., the input terminal of the upper-stage transistor (27). Those phase compensation circuits enable a low noise negative feedback amplifier which maintains a high feedback loop gain to a high frequency band, has a wider bandwidth than a conventional one, and has a high dynamic range.

摘要： A low consumption method of regulating a voltage follower feeding a load comprising a follower stage composed of a pair of bipolar junction transistors first and second in cascade, biased by a current generator, comprises the steps of increasing or decreasing progressively the bias current generated by the current generator in function of a feedback signal representative of the current that the second transistor delivers to the load, as the current delivered to the load increases or decreases, respectively.
A voltage follower comprises a follower stage composed of a pair of bipolar junction transistors first and second in cascade, biased by a current generator. The voltage follower dissipates a relatively reduced power when the output current is small, because it comprises a second current generator connected between the current node of the input transistor of the voltage follower and a common potential node of the stage, and the first bias current generator is in the form of a current mirror, the diode connected transistor of which is coupled through a cascode stage to the current node of the first transistor connected to the second current generator.
