    • Provided is a transmission driving device wherein the rotation of a rotating body, which is released from an input shaft, is inhibited, thereby being able to prevent a shift actuation member and/or a select actuation member from being displaced when one of said actuation members is inputted with a reverse input. When an input shaft (30) and a first rotor (31) are connected, a first electromagnetic coil (36) is in an excitation state and a second electromagnetic coil (37) is in a non-excitation state. In said state, a second magnetic ring (70) does not get absorbed towards the second electromagnetic coil (37), a seventh facing (71) and an eighth facing (72), which are secured to the second magnetic ring (70), are engaged, and a second rotor (32) and a casing (5) are connected. When connected to the casing (5), the second rotor (32) cannot rotate. As a consequence, when the second rotor (32) is inputted with a reverse input, it is possible to prevent a shift shaft (8) from rotating.

    • An object of the invention is to provide a transmission device which has a simple structure and can be produced at a low cost.
      A second electromagnetic clutch 45 is shut off at a timing 5 when an electric motor 23 is decelerated and before selecting motion is finished, and thereafter, a shift/select shaft 11 is moved to a terminal end position of the selecting motion with an inertia of a driven part (a second output hub 53) of the second electromagnetic clutch 45. At a timing 6 after a predetermined period has passed from the timing 5, a first electromagnetic clutch 43 for the next shifting motion is connected. The electric motor 23 is driven synchronously with the end of the selecting motion or immediately in response to the end, thereby to start the next shifting motion. In this manner, gear change can be rapidly conducted.

    • A transmission that is able to perform shift operation and select operation using the driving force of a single electric motor is provided. A shift/select actuating device (21) includes: an electric motor (23); a first conversion mechanism (24) for amplifying rotational driving force of the electric motor (23) and converting the amplified rotational driving force to force that rotates the shift select shaft (11) about its axis; a second conversion mechanism (25) for amplifying the rotational driving force of the electric motor (23) and converting the amplified rotational driving force to force that moves the shift select shaft (11) in its axial longitudinal direction; and a changing unit (26) that changes a destination, to which the rotational driving force of the electric motor is transmitted, between the first conversion mechanism and the second conversion mechanism. The changing unit (26) includes: a first electromagnetic clutch (43) that transmits the rotational driving force of the electric motor (23) to the first conversion mechanism (24) or interrupts the rotational driving force; and a second electromagnetic clutch (45) that transmits the rotational driving force to the second conversion mechanism (25) or interrupts the rotational driving force.
