摘要： An in-line method and apparatus for making a corrugated board and carton blanks from the corrugated board include: a laminating station for completing the formation of a corrugated board having a corrugated medium, an inner liner, and a printed outer liner; an adhesive setting station for curing adhesive in the corrugated board; and a creasing, cutting, and scrap removal station for repeatedly forming sets of fold lines and cuts in the corrugated board to make carton blanks. The sets of fold lines and cuts may be formed by rotary or flatbed dies and a control system properly locate the sets of fold lines and cuts and printed matter on the outer liner relative to each other on the carton blanks being formed.

摘要： A method of working paperboard blanks is disclosed. The method includes providing first and second pairs of parallel rotary shafts supporting first and second pairs of tool heads respectively. The first pair of tool heads is moved to a predetermined longitudinal position along the first pair of shafts to define a first line of working. Likewise, the second pair of tool heads is moved to a predetermined longitudinal position along the second pair of shafts to define a second line of working wherein a center of the first line of working is displaced relative to a center of the second line of working. The paperboard blank is conveyed between the first and second pairs of tool heads to form a panel line on the paperboard blank. The tool heads may be automatically positioned along their respective shafts by coupling members which move linearly parallel to the shafts.

摘要： A machine for punching blanks (10) of corrugated cardboard out of a web or plates of corrugated cardboard and for forming folding lines (5) in said blanks. The machine has two cylinders (2, 3) rotating towards each other and of which at least one cylinder is provided on the outer surface with a curved wooden plate (6). The punching tools and the folding line tools (8, 9) are mounted on said wooden plate by being pressed into slits in said wooden plate(6). The cylinders (2, 3) are made of metal, preferably steel. The wooden plate (6) is secured to the cylinder (2, 3) by being screwed (15) thereon. The wooden plate is centred on the cylinder by means of two adjustable rings (4) on the cylinder. Each ring (4) is provided with an axially directed guide projection (4a, 4b) adapted to interact with an end notch (6a, 6b) in the wooden plate. In this way, it is rendered possible in a very simple way to centre the wooden plate and consequently the punching tool in relation to the vertical centre plane of the cylinder.
