摘要： A composite container for storing perishable products may include a composite body and a composite bottom. The composite bottom may include a bottom fiber layer, a bottom oxygen barrier layer, and a bottom sealant layer, such that the composite bottom has an upper surface and a lower surface. A hermetic seal may be formed between a sealing portion of the composite bottom and an interior surface of the composite body. When an internal pressure is applied to the interior surface of the composite body and the upper surface of the platen portion of the composite bottom, an external pressure is applied to the exterior surface of the composite body and the lower surface of the composite bottom, and the internal pressure is about 20 kPa greater than the external pressure, the platen portion of the composite bottom may not extend beyond the bottom edge of the composite body.

摘要： The invention concerns an apparatus for manufacturing of containers from blanks of a cardboard based material, said apparatus comprising: a container body forming unit configured to form a cylindrical container body from a substantially plane blank of a multilayer material comprising at least a supporting cardboard layer and a weldable layer; a welding unit configured to fasten an end closure to the container body, said welding unit comprising an inductive welding energy generator for melting of the weldable layer; and transporting means configured to transport a flow of body blanks to the container body forming unit, to transport a flow of container bodies from the container body forming unit to the welding unit, and to transport a flow of container bodies provided with end closures from the welding unit. The invention is characterized in that the transporting means comprises: a first movable gripping arrangement configured to grip at least two container bodies and move these container bodies simultaneously to the welding unit; and a transferring and positioning arrangement configured to transfer container bodies from the container body forming unit to the first movable gripping arrangement and to position the container bodies in a controlled manner to ensure that the first movable gripping arrangement can grip the at least two container bodies properly, wherein the welding unit is configured to simultaneously fasten an end closure to each of the at least two container bodies. The invention also concerns a method for operating an apparatus of the above type.

摘要： The objective of the present invention is to provide a molded paper body in which the outer peripheral portion of a blank primarily of paper is formed in a raised shape using draw processing, wherein the molded paper body eliminates the occurrence of wrinkles causing leaking or instability of adhesion when used as the bottom member of a paper cup or similar paper container and a forming method thereof. The method for manufacturing this molded paper body is to draw-process, with a punch and die, a single blank primarily of paper, and is characterized by use of a holding mechanism to press the outer peripheral portion of the blank between a wrinkle pressing member and the die upper surface, and setting the force applied by the wrinkle pressing member within an appropriate range.
