摘要： Three terminal current source (10) including a current turn around circuit comprising first (12) and second (14) transistors. The emitters of the pair of transistors are coupled to a common terminal (20) with the collector of the first one of the pair of the transistors being coupled to an input terminal at which is supplied a reference current (25) with the collector of the other one of the pair of transistors being coupled in cascode through the emitter collector path of an output transistor (24) to the output terminal (34) of the current source circuit. The base electrodes of the pair of transistors are directly connected to each other with the control electrode of the output transistor being connected to the collector of the first one of the pair of transistors of the current turn around circuit. A single lateral split collector transistor (26) is utilized to improve the current match between the input and output of the current source wherein the emitter of this transistor is connected to the base electrodes of the pair of transistors of the current source with one collector and the base of the split collector transistor being connected to the collector of the second one of the pair of transistors. The other one of the collectors of the split collector transistor is connected directly to the output terminal of the current source. The aforedescribed structure provides a current source having improved matching characteristics over a temperature range which varies from -40`C to +125`C.

摘要： An example current mirror arrangement includes a current mirror circuit, configured to receive an input current signal at an input transistor Q1 and output a mirrored signal at an output transistor Q2. The arrangement further includes a buffer amplifier circuit, having an input coupled to Q1 and an output coupled to Q2. The offset of the buffer amplifier circuit can be adjusted by including circuitry for an input or an output side offset adjustment. Providing an adjustable offset buffer in a current mirror arrangement may advantageously allow benefiting from the use of a buffer outside of a feedback loop of a current mirror, while being able to reduce the buffer offset due to mismatch between master and slave sides of the current mirror circuit.

摘要： A summation circuit (1) for summing one or more signals received from a photomultiplier array is proposed. The summation circuit comprises one or more readout circuits (5) coupleable to one or more photodiodes of the photomultiplier array (2), respectively, and a channel summing module (50), coupled at one or more outputs of the one or more readout circuits, respectively, to sum the one or more signals provided by the one or more readout circuits. The one or more readout circuits are coupleable to the photodiode of the photomultiplier array. Each readout circuit (5) comprises one or more coefficient controllers (C1, C2) for controlling multiplying coefficients of the received signal. The coefficient controllers may be placed at the input and/or at the output of the readout circuits (5).

摘要： A current distribution circuit for application in a communication device, such as a telephone subscriber circuit comprises a first current sinking branch, which is connected in parallel to a second current sinking branch. Both branches sink at least the DC current on the telephone line, whereas an excess current in the DC line is taken up by the second current sinking branch, which is provided with a current sinking transistor, whose collector/emitter voltage is relatively large. This leads to a reduced effectively needed chip area. The DC line-current can be measured by means of a low pass filter, preferable connected to a current mirror means.
