    • A motorcycle having a body adjustable in height comprising a pair of front suspensions mounted to a front fork supported rotatably by a frame of a motorcycle body, said front fork supporting a front wheel in a shock absorbing manner and an upper bracket being mounted to the front fork, a rear cushion unit supported by the body frame, said rear cushion unit supporting a rear wheel in a shock absorbing manner and an engine unit mounted to the body frame to drive the rear wheel, characterized in that the motorcycle further comprises a body height adjustor (18) capable of adjusting the body height of the motorcycle by changing lengths of said front suspensions (8,9) and said rear cushion unit (14), said body height adjustor including a first hydraulic jack (42) provided for said front suspensions, a second hydraulic jack (41) provided for said rear cushion unit and a body height adjusting unit (15) adapted to transmit hydraulic pressure of hydraulic fluid in said rear cushion unit to said first and second hydraulic jack through hydraulic hoses (16,17), said upper bracket (10) being provided with front suspension support portions (111) having slits (112) each having a width sufficient for passing said hydraulic hose (16).

    • A motorcycle having a body adjustable in height and of the type which maintains a standing condition thereof by standing on a sidestand comprising a pair of front suspensions mounted to a front fork supported rotatably by a frame of a motorcycle body, said front fork supporting a front wheel in a shock absorbing manner, a rear cushion unit supported by the body frame, said rear cushion unit supporting a rear wheel in a shock abosrbing manner and an engine unit mounted to the body frame to drive the rear wheel, characterized in that the motorcycle further comprises a body height adjustor (18) capable of adjusting the body height of the motorcycle by changing lengths of said front suspensions (8,9) and said rear cushion unit (14), said body height adjustor including a first hydraulic jack (42) provided for said front suspensions, a second hydraulic jack (41) provided for said rear cushion unit and a body height adjusting unit (15) adapted to transmit hydraulic pressure of hydraulic fluid in said rear cushion unit to said first and second hydraulic jack through hydraulic hoses (16,17), said body height adjusting unit (15) including a body height changeover valve means including a spool valve (39) and blow valve means (53,54) operatively connected to said spool valve and operated to be opened by increase of pressures in said hydraulic jacks and said hydraulic hoses, said blow valve means also being opened by operation of the sidestand.

    • Le système de suspension des roues décrit (10) comprend un élément de support de roue (14) monté pivotant sur un châssis de véhicule (12), une roue (11) montée rotative par rapport à l'élément de support (14) sur un essieu à chapes fermées (16), ainsi qu'un coussin d'air (18) placé entre l'élément de support de roue (4) et le châssis de véhicule (12), de façon à amener par sollicitation l'élément de support (14) dans une position intermédiaire entre une position la plus inférieure et une position la plus supérieure. L'axe de rotation (17) de la roue (11) est situé au niveau ou au-dessus du plancher (26) de l'espace de chargement du véhicule, au moins lorsque l'élément de support de roue (14) se trouve dans la position la plus supérieure. Dans ledit système de suspension (10), le point de pivot (33), l'essieu (16) sur lequel sont montées les roues et le coussin d'air (18) sont alignés de façon à former un profil latéral compact, assurant ainsi une distance maximale entre les roues (11) et permettant au plancher (26) de l'espace de chargement d'être soutenu entre les roues (11) et, dans certains cas, au-dessous de l'axe de rotation (17) des roues (11). Les éléments de support de roue (14) sont généralement montés en une, deux ou trois paires de part et d'autre du véhicule, soit pour former les uniques roues (11) d'une remorque soit pour former les roues arrière d'une camionnette ou tout autre véhicule similaire à traction sur les roues avant.
