    • An adjustable tile spacing apparatus permits the setting tiles in a consistent pattern with perfect spacing relative to one another so as to obtain grout joints of uniform width. The adjustable tile spacing apparatus includes a central member and two perpendicular members at opposing ends of the central member, with each member adjustable in both width and length dimensions, via the use of telescoping members and fasteners. A spacer is affixed to each corner of the apparatus. The spacer can have an X-shape, a T-shape, an L-shape, or a linear shape. The spacers may be ¼ inch, ⅜ inch, and ⅛ inch in width to construct various sized grout line widths. A rubber handle with finger grips is provided for user comfort. The adjustable tile spacing apparatus is simply moved along as each tile is set and provides perfect spacing for the next tile to be set.

    • A removable tile spacer for use in properly spacing floor tiles, wall tiles, counter tiles, and other tiles having a uniform shape is provided with an integrally formed handle angled upwardly and away from the flat body of the tile spacer. The tile spacer handle projects at an angle upwardly and outwardly from a junction at the distal end of a selected one of a plurality of legs forming the tile spacer body. By locating the handle remote from the intersection of the tile spacer legs a level or straight edge can be used to properly align the tiles as they are placed on a flat, supporting surface without obstruction from the tile spacer of the invention. Also, by locating the handle for the tile spacer at the tip of one of its legs, the tile spacer is provided with an extended lever arm to facilitate removal of the tile spacer from between tiles, should removal prove difficult.

    • A calibration assembly and method for calibrating the device pick-up heads used in multi-head IC handlers such that all of the device pick-up heads are reliably calibrated to a consistent optimal calibration position. Gauge blocks are provided that greatly simplify the calibration process by holding the movable portion of a device pick-up head in an optimal calibration position relative to the base structure of the device pick-up head while the collar is secured. Each gauge block has base portion for supporting the base structure of the device pick-up head, and a flat contact surface against which the lower surface of the movable portion is pressed. The contact surface is a predetermined distance from the base portion such that when the device pick-up head is mounted on the gauge block, the movable portion is maintained in an optimal calibration position relative to the base structure.
