摘要： A combustion chamber (1; 101), is surrounded by a heater (4; 104), by means of which a constant temperature in the order of 850°C can be maintained in the chamber (1; 101). The chamber (1; 101) has arranged therein devices (17, 18, 117) which, when the arrangement is in operation, partly obstruct the passage of gas through the chamber. The waste gases to be treated are introduced into the chamber (1; 101) through an inlet (2; 102) and the treated, residual waste.gas is discharged from the chamber through an outlet (3; 103). 摘要： An emergency exhaust system (59) is provided for a mobile incineration system (10). A hinged gate (76) controls access to the emergency exhaust system (59), and operates only upon the sensing of a malfunction in one of a plurality of critical incineration system components (114, 36, 56) by sensors/relays (122-126). A malfunction as sensed by Sensors/relays (122-126) causes the power to be cut through switch (98) to the main incineration system components (114, 36, 56, 46, 116, 118, 22). In a preferred embodiment, the emergency exhaust system (59) comprises a plurality of water sprayers (64) to cool the volatile waste combustion products, and a granulated activated carbon column (68) to remove hazardous substances.

摘要： A combustion control method for waste incinerators, developed for the purpose of reducing the concentrations of CO and NOx in a waste gas and a generation rate of dioxine. The condition of the waste on a post-combustion fire grate (3c) is judged on the basis of measurement values on a main flue thermometer (14), an O2 analyser (16), a CO concentration meter (17) and a barometer (18a) which is set under the post-combustion fire grate. Thus, the possibility that the apparatus will get into an insufficient temperature condition, or an air or fuel shortage condition is judged quickly, and the flow rate of the air to the post-combustion fire grate (3c), or the flow rate of the air to the same fire grate (3c) and the moving speed of the fire grate are controlled.

The fluid cooling makes it possible to design each single firebar stage to be individually movable and also to operate individually at determined places directly on the hearth with primary air. 摘要： A combustion controller (62) controls the supply of combustion air to the combustion barrel (10) of a rotary combustor (8) used for incinerating solid waste material (14). The rotary combustor (8) includes a combustion barrel (10) having a gas-porous side wall (36) and windboxes (48, 50, 52) underneath the combustion barrel (10) to supply the combustion air to support incineration of the waste material (14) into combustion products which include exhaust gases (20). The windboxes (48, 50, 52) receive combustion air via individual control ducts (40, 42, 44, 46, 47, 49) which are controlled by the combustion controller (62) to regulate the corresponding supplies of combustion air and thereby to provide substantially complete incineration of the solid material (14). An oxygen sensor (64) detects the percentage of oxygen present in the exhaust gases (20) and the combustion air supplied to the combustion barrel (10) is controlled to maintain the percentage of oxygen near a predetermined level. In addition, flame and temperature sensors (71 through 79) may detect temperature and the existence of a flame (26) respectively, in an area above each of the windboxes (48, 50, 52) so that the combustion air supplied to each windbox (48, 50, 52) can be individually controlled.

摘要： A combustion control method for refuse incinerators stabilizes a burning state to generate a predetermined amount of steam in a refuse incinerator which makes use of heat of combustion for steam power generation. The method comprises determining a weight of refuse charged and a level change before and after the charging of refuse from measurements of a refuse load cell attached to a refuse charging crane and a refuse level meter (12), which measures a surface level of refuse in a refuse incinerator hopper, to control a speed of a drying fire grate (3a), which serves to feed refuse into the incinerator, based on a result of comparison between quantities determined in a plurality of preceding charges and the quantities determined at the present time. Also, the method comprises measuring a quantity of steam generated in the refuse incinerator and an O2 concentration in an exhaust gas, calculating a target quantity of combustion air required for having the generated steam quantity agree with a target quantity of steam generated, setting a target quantity of combustion air, when a measurement of O2 concentration in the exhaust gas first reaches a predetermined upper limit value, as a temporary set quantity of combustion air, controlling a quantity of combustion air so as to have the same agree with the target quantity of combustion air when the measurement of O2 concentration in the exhaust gas is equal to or less than the upper limit value, and controlling a quantity of combustion air so as to have the same agree with a smaller one of the target quantity of combustion air at that time and the temporary set quantity of combustion air when the measurement of O2 concentration in the exhaust gas exceeds the upper limit value.
