    • PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sensitive material capable of retaining a fine dye image for a long term by incorporating a specified phenol cyan coupler into a silver halide emulsion layer and a benzotriazole compound into a nonphotosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A cyan coupler represented by formula I (where R1 is alkyl, aminosulfonamido or the like; R2 is alkylene; Z is H or a group which can be eliminated by the coupling reaction with the oxidized product of aromatic primary amine as a color developing agent; and (n) is 0-5), e.g. a compound represented by formula II is incorporated into at least one of silver halide emulsion layers on a support. A compound represented by formula III (where each of R3, R4 and R5 is H, halogen, alkyl, aryl, OH or the like), e.g. a compound represented by formula IV is incorporated into a nonphotosensitive layer on a silver halide emulsion layer positioned farthest from the support. The titled sensitive material capable of retaining a fine dye image for a long term is obtd. The dye image has improved resistance to light, heat and moisture and causes hardly yellowing due to light.
