    • An apparatus for transferring successively arriving piece goods, especially printed products, from a first individual conveyor to a second individual conveyor, each of the individual conveyors being provided with tandemly arranged, controlled grippers each of which serve to grip one of the piece goods. Between both of the individual conveyors there is arranged a third revolving individual conveyor equipped with controlled entrainment members. Each of the entrainment members serving to seize or engage one of the piece goods. The conveying-active run of the third individual conveyor can be introduced at its end regions into the conveying paths of the first and second individual conveyors. A drive which is controlled by the first and/or the second individual conveyor is provided for the third individual conveyor. The entrainment members, at the overlapping zones of the end regions of the conveying-active run of the third individual conveyor, are controlled to work in opposed relation to the grippers of the first individual conveyor and the grippers of the second individual conveyor.

    • A transport apparatus for printed products arriving in an imbricated formation, said transport apparatus comprising grippers or gripper elements anchored in spaced relationship from one another at a revolving traction element for engaging the leading edges of the printed products and for the transfer thereof for further conveying of such printed products. At a transfer zone the conveyor track of the imbricated product stream and a guide for the grippers extend in a direction towards one another. Each gripper comprises a guided upper clamping tongue or jaw and a lower clamping tongue or jaw which is mounted to be movable towards and away from the upper clamping jaw as well as being rotatably mounted. This lower clamping tongue or jaw, when assuming its open position, forms an angle together with the upper clamping jaw which is rearwardly directed and in its closed position the lower clamping jaw is held in a position which is in alignment with or underlies the upper clamping jaw by a holding device of the gripper. At the transfer zone there are provided means for positionally moving the lower clamping jaw into its closed position by rotation and displacement thereof, and along the path of movement of the grippers there are arranged further means in order to render the holding device ineffectual and to return the lower clamping jaw back into its open position.

Durch Auflaufen des Gleit­schuhs (90) auf eine ortsfeste Kulisse wird der Klemm­finger (74) entgegen der Kraft der Druckfeder (98) in die mit (74‴) gezeigte Stellung angehoben, und unter Einwirkung eines Betätigungsgliedes auf den Gleitschuh (86) im Gegenuhrzeigersinn um 90° verschwenkt. In dieser Stellung läuft der Gleitschuh (90) ab der Kulisse, wobei der Klemmfinger (74) auf die Klemmbacke (78) zur Anlage kommt. Da die Druckfeder (98) in Richtung der Offenstel­lung vorgespannt ist, schwenkt der Klemmfinger (74) bei leichtem Anheben des Gleitschuhs (90) in die Offenstel­lung zurück.

    • A conveyor includes a track and a grip unit. The grip unit includes a main body having a slide groove that receives slidably the track, a push piece provided on the track at a predetermined position and having a pushing surface to face the slide groove, a push rod inserted movably into the slide groove to abut against the pushing surface, a resilient restoring element for biasing the push rod upwardly, two grip arms connected pivotally to the main body and disposed respectively on two opposite sides of the push rod, and two spring members each disposed between the main body and a respective grip arm to bias one grip arm toward the other grip arm so that the grip arms cooperate with each other to grip an object therebetween. The push rod is movable downwardly to push the object when the push rod abuts against the pushing surface.
