SOLUTION: It was found that, by culturing a mesenchymal stem cell in the presence of an extracellular substrate of basement membrane cells, for example, by culturing a mesenchymal stem cell on a culture dish coated with the extracellular substrate of basement membrane cells, the mesenchymal stem cell grows at an extremely high speed, it can keep a differential ability to an osteoblast, a chondrocyte or a fat cell, it can be effectively grown even with a serum of a low concentration, it can be cultured by using human serum, and further, excellent differentiation-inducing culturing is possible. Further, even in the case where culturing is carried out in a lower concentration of serum, growth ability and differential ability can be kept by adding various kinds of additives to the culture medium.
