The invention further relates to a vector, the use of this vector for transformation of a cell, a transformed cell, a polypeptide, cells genetically engineered relative to their wild type, a method of production of a genetically engineered cell, the genetically engineered cell obtainable by this method, the use of this cell and a method of production of 3-hydroxyisobutyric acid or of a derivative thereof.
