    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a specified inner surface shape by forming recessed parts in the inner and outer peripheral sides of a cup-like rough shaping material corresponding to the plurality of grooves of a cup-like socket member and forming its thickness to be roughly uniform in a radial direction section over the full area of a circumferential direction. SOLUTION: Plastic working is perfomed for the inner and outer peripheral sides of a cup-like rough shaping material, and thereby a cuplike socket member 2 is formed. A shaft-shaped rough shaping material is also subjected to plastic working to form a connection shaft member 3, and thereby an outer ring member 1 composed of the cup-like socket member 2 and the connection shaft member 3 is formed as a whole. Here, when the cup-like socket member 2 is subjected to plastic working, since the cup-like rough shaping material has a thickness (t) in its radial direction section formed to be roughly uniform overt the full area of a circumferential direction, in other words since it is formed roughly uniformly in the parts of recessed parts 9 and 10 and a remaining part, without any difference produced in rigidity, it is easily formed over the full regions of the rough shaping material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily build in rolling members by forming a plurality of cutout grooves extending in the lengthwise direction on the outer circumference side of an outer ring member in which a plurality of guide grooves for the rolling members are formed on the inner circumference side, so as to correspond to the grooves. SOLUTION: An outer ring member 1 is cup-shaped, a plurality of guide grooves 2 are formed on the inner circumference side at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, a through hole 3 for easily combining and fixing with a connecting shaft member is formed on the bottom part, and the opening end is opened toward the outside expanding the diameter. On the outer circumference side, cutout grooves 4 extending in the lengthwise direction corresponding to the guide grooves 2 are formed into nearly U-shaped section. Hereby, when rolling members are inserted into the guide grooves 2, the outer ring member is easily elastically deformed outward in the radial direction by the cutout grooves 4, and building-in is facilitated. When the outer ring member 1 is formed by pressing out of a sheet material, spring back generated in the vicinity of the cutout groove 4 is cancelled with the guide groove 2, and hence the outer ring member 1 is prevented from being deformed.
