摘要： A control apparatus and method of an internal combustion engine performs a predetermined stop control of the engine that includes a control to stop the supply of fuel to the engine upon establishment of a predetermined stop condition, and a re-start control that includes a control to restart the supply of fuel to the engine in response to the establishment of a predetermined re-start condition. The apparatus has a stop control discontinuing device for discontinuing the stop control if the re-start condition is established within a predetermined period between establishment of the stop condition and a stop of the engine.

摘要： Aminophenol derivatives of the following formula (I) ##STR1## wherein X is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl or a protecting group for phenolic hydroxy, Y is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl, Z is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl, halogen atom or trifluoromethyl, A is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl, t is an integer of 1 to 5, l and m are respectively an integer of 2 to 4, E and W are nitrogen atoms, F is a direct bond or oxygen atom, P and Q are each hydrogen atom, halogen atom, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy, and R.sup.8 is hydrogen atom, hydroxy or a hydroxy-protecting group, and their pharmcologically acceptable salts. Since the aminophenol derivatives (I) of the present invention have excellent antioxidative action and antiinflammatory and antiallergic action in mammalian animals including human, they are extremely useful as pharmaceuticals such as an antiinflammatory or an antiallergic.

摘要： An evaporated fuel treating device lowers the blow-by volume of evaporated fuel emitted to the atmosphere via a casing having an atmospheric port. The casing has in series a first adsorbent chamber housing an adsorbent material, a space chamber not housing an adsorbent material and a second adsorbent chamber housing an adsorbent material. Each of the chambers is positioned beside an adjacent chamber thereof. The first chamber is disposed closest to the atmospheric port among the adsorbent chambers. An end part of the space chamber on a side of the first chamber has a first partition wall having an opening part with a plurality of first openings provided on a top side of the first partition wall. A current plate has one end positioned between the adjacent first openings and a surface and a rear face of the current plate are disposed along the top and bottom direction.

摘要： A wiper assembly has an arm head which reciprocates with respect to a center line of a wiper arm by receiving motive force from a reciprocating rod. An elastic component is coaxially provided proximate to the center of rotation. When the coefficient of friction between the wiper blade and the windshield surface is inversely proportional to the speed of the wiper blade causing self-induced vibration in certain circumstances, the wiper blade tends to screech, skip or chatter across the windshield surface. Such vibration is suppressed by the elastic component, thereby permitting smooth reciprocal motion of the wiper assembly.
