SOLUTION: This double-hinged thin type refrigerator has a refrigeration chamber for arranging the double-hinged rotary door in an upper stage, a storage chamber for arranging a drawer type door in a lower stage, a storage vessel arranged in the refrigeration chamber, a cooler or a compressor arranged in a rear part of the storage vessel. A maximum dimension projecting forward when opening the rotary door, is set smaller than a projection dimension when maximally forward drawing out the drawer type door, and a lateral width dimension W1 of the refrigerator is set to 50-65 cm, and a depth dimension D1 when closing the rotary door is set to 0.95-1.2 times or 60-70 cm of the lateral width dimension W1.
