    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with extended freedom of design by using a membrane-like pressing switch as a touch switch for operating a door opening device on a door surface of the refrigerator, thereby further ensuring the switch operation to improve the reliability, thinning a switch mechanism to minimize the influence on the heat-insulating thickness of the door, and eliminating the limitation of the setting place to reduce the cost.
      SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises the door opening device provided in an upper portion of a refrigerator body having an opening in the front, the heat-insulating door 5 rotated by operating the door opening device to open the front opening of the refrigerator body, and the membrane-like pressing switch 15 set on the outer surface of the heat insulating door, and performing connecting/disconnecting operation of the switch by pressing a dome-like membrane body having a conductive member on the inner surface onto an electrode arranged with a space therefrom to make contact therewith. The door opening device is operated by pressing the membrane-like pressing switch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator door capable of integrating an operation display panel which has been an independent component in a conventional case, by making a door decoration plate on a surface of the refrigerator door, out of a transparent resin, obtaining good appearance on the door surface by resolving the complication in color coordination, and reducing the cost by reducing the number of components.
      SOLUTION: This refrigerator door is composed of a door cap 7 mounted in a cut part of an end face of a front plate 6 forming a door main body and forming a recessed part 11 to close a heat insulating material 10 side, a door decoration plate 12 having an accommodating space on a front part of the door cap and engaged and fixed to be placed over the whole width of the door, and a control display unit 13 mounted on a front panel part of the door decoration plate. The door decoration plate is made out of the transparent resin, and a decorative sheet 20 used in a transparent window part 12a of the display panel on which the control display unit is mounted, is integrally attached to the door decoration plate.

      SOLUTION: The door structure of a refrigerator is such that a door body is situated at the opening part of a heat insulation casing body, and the door body consists of an outer face plate (14), door caps (15) and (16) mounted on at least the upper and lower surfaces of the outer face plate (14). A door inner plate (17) is situated on the back surface side of the door body, and the door body is formed of urethane foam heat insulating material (18) with which a gap between the door body and the door inner plate (17) is filled. The door caps (15) and (16) are formed of crystalline resin, such as polypropyrene.
