    • A process for preparing detergent particles containing step (I): mixing a base particle for supporting a surfactant ((a) component), and a surfactant composition ((b) component), under mixing conditions wherein the (a) component does not substantially undergo breakdown, to give a mixture; wherein the base particle is obtained by spray-drying an aqueous slurry, wherein the mixing operation is carried out by using a mixer containing agitation impellers, and where the mixer further contains disintegration impellers, the mixing operation step (I) is carried out without substantially rotating the disintegration impellers; and step (II): mixing the mixture obtained in step (I) with 5 to 100 parts by weight of fine powder, while substantially maintaining the shape of the (a) component containing (b) component, to give detergent particles, having a degree of particle growth of 1.3 or less, and a bulk density of 500 g/L or more.

    • The present invention relates to a process for preparing uni-core detergent particles having a degree of particle growth of 1.5 or less and a bulk density of 500 g/L or more, comprising the steps of (A-I) mixing base particles for supporting a surfactant which have an average particle size of from 150 to 500 &mgr;m and a bulk density of 400 g/L or more [Component (a)] with a surfactant composition [Component (c)]; (A-II) mixing a mixture obtained in Step (A-I) with a powdery builder [Component (b)] of which primary average particle size is from 3 to 30 &mgr;m; and (A-III) mixing a mixture obtained in Step (A-II) with a fine powder [Component (d)] of which primary average particle size is smaller than that of Component (b). By using the process of the present invention, the uni-core detergent particles which are excellent in the dissolubility and the flowability properties can be prepared.

    • The present invention relates to particles for supporting a surfactant and a process for preparing the same. Further, the present invention relates to high-density detergent particles using the particles for supporting a surfactant, and a process for preparing the same. According to the present invention, there can be obtained particles for supporting a surfactant which are excellent in the supporting ability (supporting capacity/supporting strength) for the liquid surfactant composition, and particles for supporting a surfactant which are excellent in the absorption properties (supporting rate) for the liquid surfactant composition, by spray-drying a preparation liquid obtainable by a process comprising the steps of preparing a first preparation liquid comprising a solution or slurry comprising a water-soluble polymer and a water-soluble salt; and subjecting the first preparation liquid to a treatment of increasing a number of water-soluble salt particles, thereby preparing a second preparation liquid having an increased number of water-soluble salt particles, as compared to the number of water-soluble salt particles which are present in the first preparation liquid. Further, since the liquid surfactant composition is supported by the particles for supporting a surfactant, detergent particles which are excellent in detergent performance, quality and the like can be efficiently obtained.

    • The present invention relates to particles for supporting a surfactant and a process for preparing the same.
