    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule easy to operate and simple in structure, protecting maggot baits from a bait-taking device on the surface layer, delivering the bait to a target fish-swimming layer, and also throwable by utilizing a fishing rod.
      SOLUTION: The capsule is of nearly hemispherical shape, made of a synthetic resin, being rigid and thin. This capsule is set in a free-movable condition in between a float and a swivel, Maggot baits and the same kinds of baits are put into the deep and scattering baits are then put into so as to cover them, and a fishline coming out of the center of the capsule is hooked on a throwing hook at the opening; thereby this capsule can be thrown by utilizing the springy force of a fishing rod. When the capsule reaches the water surface, the fishline comes off the hook and the opening turns downward, but the maggot baits are not released owing to scattering baits' viscosity and the capsule under sinking surely protects the maggot baits from the bait-taking device. At a target water depth, by pulling a bit the fishline through the fishing rod, or the like, seawater is allowed to flow via a hole around the center of the capsule into the capsule, thus enabling the scattering baits, and the like, included therein to be released.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule protecting feed bait from taken off from a surface layer of the bait, sending the bait to a swimming layer of a target fish, easily thrown by using a fishing rod and not disturbing a sense of a fine attack of the fish (a fish attack signal) in fishing from the rocks on the shore, or the like.
      SOLUTION: The guard capsule is constituted as follows; it has a structure in which two hemispheres made of a hard and thin synthetic resin are connected with a hinge and which houses feeding bait and fish-attracting and gathering bait inside of the capsule. A fishing line fixed with a swivel, or the like, is passed through from inside of a hole made in almost the center of the upper capsule and the fishing line is hung to a hook in a part of a cover of the opening of the lower capsule. Thus, the capsule can be thrown into the sea in a closed state of the capsule by using a fishing rod. The capsule is opened by buoyancy of a float on the sea surface by pulling the fishing line connected to the capsule when the capsule reaches the swimming layer of the target fish to release the housed feed bait and fish attracting and gathering bait into the sea.
