摘要： A wiring structure is provided, the wiring structure being formed by forming a laminated film of silver (Ag) or an alloy containing silver (Ag) as the major constituent and the other metallic material, and by forming a wiring pattern through a single process of photolithography. The wiring structure comprises a plurality of first parallel wires; a plurality of second parallel wires intersecting with the first parallel wires; and a plurality of active elements, each of the active elements being arranged at a position near an intersection of the first parallel wire and the second parallel wire and connected to the first parallel wire and the second parallel wire, wherein part or all of the first parallel wires and the second parallel wires are of a laminated structure of a layer made of silver (Ag) or an alloy containing silver (Ag) as a major constituent and a layer made of a metallic element having standard electrode potential of dissolution reaction lower than the standard electrode potential of silver (Ag) or an alloy containing said metallic element as a major constituent, and are formed through a single process of photolithography.

摘要： A liquid crystal display unit is used that has data lines made of a molybdenum-alloyed film having a chromium content from 2 wt. % or more, but up to 5 wt. %, or a molybdenum-alloyed film lamination (Mo—Cr) consisting of a first electroconductive film and a second electroconductive film, with the first electroconductive film having a chromium content from 2 wt. % or more, but up to 5 wt. % and the second electroconductive film being provided above the first electroconductive film and containing less chromium than the first electroconductive film does. The use of the data lines composed of these materials enables the following requirements to be satisfied: high dry-etching resistance, low resistance, low ACF contact resistance, low side etching rates, forward tapered wiring cross-sectional shape, and up to two lamination layers.

摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a photoconductive layer comprising a photoconductor, a support for the photoconductive layer and a surface layer formed on the photoconductive layer and comprising a curable resin film and an inorganic insulator pieces having a size larger than the film thickness of the curable resin film. In order to prevent the image blurring of an a-Si:H photoreceptor, on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor was formed a surface layer having a structure in which inorganic insulator pieces have protruded from the curable resin film. Since the curable resin is of high resistance and shows no quality change by corona irradiation, and besides the protruding inorganic insulator pieces prevent the abrasion of the resin, the surface layer having a long life and excellent humidity resistance, durability for corona irradiation and abrasion resistance can be realized. Further, by covering the surface layer with a fluorine-containing lubricant, the surface layer having a low friction coefficient and excellent cleaning characteristics is obtained, and besides the resin constituting the surface layer absorbs little moisture. As a result, it becomes possible to use the a-Si:H photoreceptors without a heater. Also, the surface layer of the present invention can be removed and then re-formed.

摘要： A thin film EL element which comprises an insulating substrate, a transparent electrode, a first insulating layer, a light-emitting layer, a second insulating layer and a back side electrode, successively laid one upon another, at least one of the first and second insulating layers being composed of a material having a perovskite crystal structure, for example, a layer of SrTiO.sub.3, PbTiO.sub.3 or BaTiO.sub.3, particularly a SrTiO.sub.3. The material can be a single crystal, having (111) plane orientation. The material is deposited by sputtering, at substrate temperatures of not less than 200.degree. C. and up to the softening point of the insulating substrate, and at a pressure of not more than 1.times.10.sup.-2 Torr. The material has a high dielectric constant, a high dielectric strength and thus has a high reliability of element performance with a low driving voltage.
