    • An object of the present invention is to allow a vehicle to run in the case where an air compressor connected to an input port fails so as to cause air leakage from the location of the failure, by preventing air in a parking brake circuit from leaking from the failure location through a bleed air flow path. In order to achieve the object, a multi-protection valve includes: a communication passage for communicating between an input chamber and a service output port so as to bypass a pressure control valve provided in correspondence with the service output port, the communication passage having a check valve for preventing air from flowing from the service output port into the input chamber and a throttle for restricting the air flow rate; and a bleed air flow path for communicating between the input chamber and the parking output port so as to bypass pressure control valves, the bleed air flow path having a second check valve for preventing air from flowing from the input chamber to the parking output port. The multi-protection valve further includes a third check valve provided between the input chamber and an input port to prevent air from flowing from the input chamber to the input port.

    • To provide a toe angle changing control ECU for controlling a toe angle of wheels of a vehicle. The toe angle changing control ECU includes: a straight traveling state judging section (41) for judging whether or not the vehicle is in a straight traveling state within a predetermined time period based on detection results (a vehicle speed, a steering torque, a yaw rate, and a lateral acceleration) of the traveling condition of the vehicle; a memory (44) for storing the toe angle of the wheels while the vehicle is in the straight traveling state; and a toe angle setting section (43) for setting the wheels to the toe angle stored in the memory (44) when the straight traveling state judging section (41) judges that the vehicle is in the straight traveling state. While the vehicle is in the straight traveling state, the wheels are set to a toe angle at which the wheels are substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and the rolling resistance of the wheels becomes minimum theoretically. Thus, the fuel consumption can be improved.

    • A vehicle steering device in which steering torque is transmitted from a steering wheel to steered wheels via a rack-and-pinion mechanism. The steering device comprises a rack shaft in which a rack is formed, two rack support parts positioned to both sides of a longitudinal direction of the rack shaft relative to the position of a pinion, and an urging part positioned between the two rack support parts. The urging part urges the rack shaft in at least a direction other than towards the rack.

    • An apparatus for diagnosing a fault of a hydraulic pressure source, including a fluid tank, a pump for pumping up fluid from the fluid tank, an accumulator for accumulating the fluid pumped up by the pump, a pressure detector for detecting a pressure of the fluid in the accumulator and generating an output signal, a pump drive or motor responsive to the output signal for driving the pump, and an electromagnetic valve of normally closed type interposed either in a flow path between the accumulator and a hydraulic pressure instrument or in a flow path between the tank and the hydraulic pressure instrument. If any fault exists in the hydraulic pressure source, fall and rise of the hydraulic pressure is not effected normally. The control unit determines whether the variation of the hydraulic pressure is normal or abnormal on the basis of the output signal from the pressure detector.
