    • A rear holder integral-type connector is constituted by a hollow rectangular housing body made from resin, and rear holders coupled integrally with the upper and lower walls of the housing body through displaceable hinges respectively. The rear holders are bent, at a position displaced from the fore side of the upper wall of the housing body to the rear side slightly, toward the fore side with the displaceable hinges as pivotal axes. The housing body and the rear holders which are disposed back to back, are temporarily fixed by temporary fixation hinges. These temporary fixation hinges are formed integrally with the housing body and the rear holders. Locking side pieces for locking are provided at the both side ends of the rear holders, and locking grooves are provided at a rear end portion of the housing body.

    • A coaxial connector includes a central contact, an insulating housing, a grounding shell and a clamp. Central contact, a cylindrical slim member, is formed by stamping a conductive thin metal sheet of phosphor bronze or other specially suitable material. The central contact has a forward end portion slotted to form a pair of leaf-spring-like contact pieces enabling resilient contact with both sides of plug pin. Plug pin is inserted into a contact receiving hole from the front side to establish electrical connections with contact pieces. Rear end portion of the central contact is integrally formed with an open-topped crimp barrel that has a U-shaped cross section in a plane perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the central contact. Crimp barrel serves as a conductor connecting portion that is crimped into contact with the central conductor of the coaxial cable once the central conductor is inserted into the central contact from rear end portion.

    • A connector with a rear holder in which simultaneously when attaching the rear holder to a housing, connector terminals can be easily and positively pushed in the housing. In the connector with the rear holders, each rear holder has, at its front end, retaining projections for respectively pushing the connector terminals, and is connected to the housing through hinges. Guide portions of the rear holder are slidably received respectively in guide grooves formed respectively in opposite side walls of the housing. Each of the guide grooves has a first horizontal portion for slidably supporting the associated guide portion in a provisionally-retained condition of the rear holder, a slanting surface portion for guiding the associated retaining projection in an inclined manner therealong into the associated terminal receiving chamber, and a second horizontal portion for guiding the retaining projection, abutted against the one end of the connector terminal, into a predetermined position in the terminal receiving chamber.

    • An improved connector terminal is provided that is capable of being inserted more easily into a terminal accommodating chamber of a connector housing.The connector terminal comprises a wire connecting part and an electric contact part that may be inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber of a connector housing having an opening edge. The electric contact part includes a rectangular cylindrical body having two pairs of opposing walls for a total of four walls and a guide protrusion protruding continually from the tip of at least one of the four walls of the body. The guide protrusion has a guide surface that slides along the opening edge of the connector housing when the electric contact part is inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber. The guide protrusion is structured to protrude from one of the four walls so as to have substantially the same width as the wall width or structured so that a bent guide surface is formed by extending and bending tips of at least two of the four walls that have a width smaller than the width of the respective wall.
