    • A two-piece cable connector includes a connector body and a threaded nut or compression fitting that attaches at a first end of the connector body. Two series of rings are interleaved with tapered sides adjacent each other, with the rings being fitted inside the connector body outside a portion of a mandrel. Two plastic rings are fitted adjacent the series of rings at the first end of the connector body. The threaded nut or compression fitting drives the plastic rings against each other and the inboard ring against the series of rings in wedging engagement, thus creating an interference fit among the grounded connector body, the series of rings, a ground sheath of a coaxial cable, and the mandrel. The two plastic rings from a seal protecting the inside of the cable connector from the environment.

    • An F-type connector for mounting to a prepared terminal end of a coaxial cable for threaded engagement of a nut on the connector to a threaded shaft at a port on video equipment to which the coaxial cable is to be electrically connected. In the connector of the present invention, the nut is mounted for limited axial movement with respect to the post, body and compression ring. A coil spring biases the nut toward a rest position with respect to the other elements wherein not more than three revolutions of the nut into engagement with the shaft are necessary in order to bring the post of the connector into contact with the shaft on the equipment, providing a satisfactory coupling. Upon further revolution of the nut, the post and shaft remain in contact as the nut moves axially away from the rest position with respect to the other elements.

    • A micro coaxial cable connector assembly (1) includes a connector (10), a plurality of wires (20, 22), an upper grounding shield (30) and a lower grounding shield (40). The connector includes a mating portion (101), a plurality of terminals (102) received in the mating portion and a base (103) perpendicular to the mating portion. The base defines a plurality of canals (110). The terminals each have a portion extending into a corresponding canal. The wires each have a conductor (203) also extending into a corresponding canal. A number of solder slugs (50) are positioned in the canals when the solder slugs are heated, they are melted to solder the conductors to the terminals.

    • A quick connector for securing a coaxial cable to an electronic device (cable splitter, VCR, monitor, etc.) is formed integrally with the device. The connector has a cylindrical housing extending from the structure of the electronic device, with a generally tubular inner body and collar permanently and immovably affixed within the housing. The only movable component is a retainer having a series of fingers which selectively grip a corresponding circumferential groove inside the collar. A coaxial cable is trimmed to expose the center conductor, a portion of the outer cover is removed, and the shielding is folded back. The cable is inserted into the connector, with the barbed end of the inner body penetrating between the cable dielectric and shielding. The cable and retainer are then withdrawn slightly to force the retainer fingers against the cable outer cover and shielding to capture them between the retainer fingers and inner body.

    • A coaxial connector including a connector main body disposed with a front end extending portion and a rear end extending portion for receiving a free end of a coaxial cable. The inner portion of the rear end extending portion is disposed with a ring sleeve. The ring sleeve has a small diameter portion and a big portion jointed with the end portion of the small diameter portion. The small diameter portion and the rear end extending portion are concentrically circled around each other with a ring hollow in the center. A tool is used to reduce the diameter of the rear end extending portion to force the small diameter and an aluminum shield body of the cable to form a good connection. The small diameter provides a flexible deforming space for assuring a long-term and dependable electrical connection.
