Also there is provided a processing method of contaminated soil for removing the solidified contaminated soil by adding 1.5 to 3.0 kg of a slurry of the solidification material having a water/solidification material ratio (mass ratio) of 2.5 to 4.5 per 1 mof the contaminated soil in terms of magnesium oxide to solidify the contaminated soil.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for suppressing generation of dust, which is added to calcium-based powder so that the dust can be restrained from being generated, when the calcium-based power such as cement, a cement-based solidifying material to be used for improving the soft ground and lime is handled, and which can continue a suppressing effect of the generation of dust even when a storage period of the calcium-based powder becomes long, and to provide a hydraulic powder composition which contains the composition for suppressing generation of dust and the calcium-based powder and has excellent strength development.SOLUTION: The composition for suppressing generation of dust contains starches and a hydration retarder. It does not matter if the composition for suppressing generation of dust contains water. The starches is preferably at least one selected from starch and processed starch. The hydration retarder is preferably at least one selected from hydroxy carboxylic acid, salt of the hydroxy carboxylic acid, a saccharide, an inorganic acid, and salt of the inorganic acid.
