    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for displaying a vehicle perimeter image that generates a perspective image capable of identifiably and properly displaying a three-dimensional object existing around a vehicle and additionally displays optimum drive support information in response to a driving state by automatically grasping the driving state onto the perspective image thereby totally supporting the driving. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a normalizing processing section for converting a plurality of images obtained from a plurality of fish-eye cameras for imaging the vehicle perimeter into ordinary images and applying normalizing processing to the converted ordinary images to produce normalized images; a perspective image generating section for generating the perspective image looking down at the vehicle perimeter from a virtual viewpoint above the vehicle; a support image generating section for generating a drive support image for supporting the driving of the vehicle; an image composite section for composing the drive support image with the perspective image; and a display section for displaying the drive support image together with the perspective image. Thus it is possible to select a power source that can transfer the products, etc., at a least cost in terms of a plant as a whole and without affecting the operation of the plant.
