摘要： PURPOSE:To equalize the diameter of the top to that of the bottom of a steam, generator by reducing a pitch of a heat transfer tube at a body drum through part of a heat transfer tube group disposed in a body drum in which liquid metal cooling medium is supplied shorter than that of a heat transfer tube at a steam tube plate. CONSTITUTION:Heat transfer tubes 3 are arranged linearly up to the bottom of a steam generator in an annular area surrounded by a body drum 4 and an outer shroud 5, and outside of the tubes 3 becomes a retention area 6 of sodium. The tubes 3 are vertically erected above a helical coil tube bundle 8 to form a straight tube part 9, and its end is connected to a steam tube plate 10 through a body drum through part 15. In this case, a pitch of a part 16 which penetrates the part 15 of the tubes 3 is set to a value smaller than that of a part 17 to be connected to the plate 10. Thus, the diameter of the part 15 is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To regenerate a cold trap by forming a gas space in the cold trap, then heating liq. metallic sodium to dissolve a hydrogen compd. collecting in the cold trap, and reducing the pressure to remove the compd. CONSTITUTION:A liq. sodium surface 27 and the gas space 29 are formed in the cold trap 21. The liq, sodium is then heated to dissolve the hydrogen-sodium compd. (NaH) collected at the collecting part 43 of the cold trap 21. The pressure in the gas space 29 is subsequently reduced to a pressure lower than the hydrogen partial pressure in sodium, the hydrogen contained in sodium is separated from sodium by the difference in partial pressure from the hydrogen in sodium, and transferred into the gas space 29. The transferred hydrogen is removed from a pipeline 25 by operating a vacuum pump. Since the gas space 29 is formed in the cold trap 21, a liq. surface forming vessel is not required.

Also, the apparatus includes a circulating system 14 having a cooling unit 15 for cooling the liquid metal sodium in the cooling vessel by taking the liquid metal sodium to the outside of the treating vessel and circulating the same.
