CONSTITUTION:Superconducting current limiting elements 7a, 7b, 7c are set in an inner tank 2 so that they are cooled by liquid helium H. Bushings 9, 11 penetrate the wall of the inner tank 2 and the wall of an outer tank 3. A current path for connecting the superconducting current limiting element in series with the electric circuit is established through the bushings 9, 11 and a current lead 12 having a turnup part 15 between the bushings 9, 11 is provided with an oxide superconductor 13 being employed between the turnup part 15 and the bushing 9 while a copper material being employed between the turnup part 15 and the bushing 11. A refrigerator 16 cools the turnup part 15 of each current lead 12 at a temperature determined by the critical temperature of the oxide superconductor 13.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pressure loss of refrigerant (operating medium) to develop refrigerating capacity sufficiently and permit the restraining of invasion of heat effectively by a method wherein the cavities of a porous bearer are filled with magnetic granular bodies, containing rare earth elements, in a cryogenic heat storage material employed for refrigerating machine and the like. SOLUTION: A sheet type cryogenic cold storage material 1 is provided with the structure of organization, in which the cavities of a porous bearer 2, made of Ni, are filled with a multitude of magnetic granular bodies (ErNi alloy powder). Respective magnetic granular bodies 4 are connected strongly to the porous bearer 2 through a connecting agent or polyvinyl alcohol. On the other hand, bumps, having the height of about 0.05mm, are formed on the surface of the cryogenic heat storage material 1 through rolling work employing an emboss working roll. The ends of obtained respective cryogenic cold storage materials 1 are connected by welding to make a continuous ribbon type cold heat storage material while the cold heat storage material is rolled to obtain a rolled cryogenic cold storage material 1. The roll type cryogenic cold storage material 1 is filled into the cold storage device 5 to effect cold storage.

Both of the coil part 41 and the part 42 are made to couple each other (are made to connect thermally each other) without breaking a vacuum only at the time when the coil 44 is cooled. When the coil 44 is heat-insulated, the coil part 41 and the part 42 are made to separate each other (are made to separate thermally each other).

CONSTITUTION:A main body 51 of a cryogenic refrigerator is composed of a single-stage expansion type GM refrigerator. When a pre-cooling refrigerator 52 is operated, a heat-transmitting block 86 is cooled to about 40K, and a heat- transmitting block 87 is cooled to about 8K. When a displacer 62 is moved toward the top dead center, a high-pressure helium gas is cooled by a cold- accumulating material 70 in a fluid passage 74, before flowing to a heat- exchanging stage 72. The stage 72 is kept at about 45K, so that the helium gas flowing out of a passage has a temperature of about 45K. A heat-exchanging stage 73 is kept at about 12K, so that the helium gas passed through a fluid passage 78 has a temperature of about 12K. The helium gas is then cooled to about 4.2K by a cold-accumulating material 81 in a fluid passage 76, before flowing into an expansion chamber 90. When a high-pressure valve 66 is closed and a low-pressure valve 67 is opened, the helium gas is expanded to produce cold, whereby a cooling stage 83 is cooled to a low temperature.

This tape is cut, and three times heat treating and pressing steps are repeated under the conditions of 842 deg.C for 50 hours. Its silver ratio is increased by reducing in diameter by cold working.
