    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain fixability right after operation by specifying the max. diameter and length of a plug for fixing the ligament consisting of a material having the vital affinity to be inserted into a hole in order to press the artificial ligament into the inner peripheral edge of the hole to specific values and forming the plug of a cylindrical body having a blind hole or through hole of a specific diameter in the central part. CONSTITUTION: This plug 11 for fixing the ligament has a fixed diameter part 12 and a tapered part 13 having a converging front end and is formed with plural annular grooves 14 around the fixed diameter part 12. The through hole 15 is formed in the central part of the plug 11 for fixing the ligament. The diameter ϕ and length L of the plug 11 for fixing the ligament are so set that the artificial ligament is fixed at a large-diameter tunnel hole. The diameter ϕin the reconstruction of the artificial ligament is set at 5 to 15mm and the length L at >=10mm. The diameter ϕ of the through hole 15 or the blind hole is set at 2 to 4mm. The plug for fixing the ligament is capable of stably fixing the artificial ligament along the osteotunnel right after the operation and, therefore, the rehabilitation in an early period is possible.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the measuring accuracy of magnetic torque by cross sensor through the increased S/N, by applying the DC bias magnetic field toward excitation placing the measured object under high magnetic field range. CONSTITUTION:When the DC bias magnetic field Hdc is applied to the measured object 30, the magnetization (Is) is caused. While the magnetization advances from the stage of magnetic wall movement to the saturation range, it turns by the angle phi from the magnetization easy axis A and it depens on the opposing rotary angle theta. This magnatization (Is) is respectively Isc and Isd viewed from the measuring axes C and D, and Isc and Isd when the angle between the axes C and D is 90 degree (the same length of the both cores for excitation and detection) are as expressed as equation I, and this magnetized component is the magnetization of the pathe on the measured object between the legs 11-12, 12-22 and 11-22, 12-24. Accordingly, the detected output when DC bias magnetic field is applied, is V0=KIsHdc sin(theta-phi)NeNdomegaIe, and it shows the magnetic torque. Where Ne and Nd are number of turns of exciting and detection coils respectively, omega is excited angular frequency, and Ie is the excited current.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a brake function intelligent by imparting a bias magnetic field to a super magnetic distortion element during non-application of braking. SOLUTION: A super magnetic distortion brake 1 is provided as a disk brake and a braking force is produced by pressing a bad 3 to a brake disk 2 as a rotary body for braking. An actuator 4 for moving the pad 3 toward the brake disk 2 expands and transmits a produced displacing quantity to the pad 3, and the operation of the actuator 4 is controlled by a control unit 8 according to the operation state of a brake pedal 6. A bias magnetic field imparting means for imparting a bias magnetic field to a super magnetic distortion element 12 includes a cylindrical permanent magnet and a magnetic material 29 so as to surround the outer periphery of an electromagnetic coil 14, and a bias magnetic field is imparted to the super magnetic distortion element 12. Thus, a brake function is made intelligent, the responsiveness of the super magnetic distortion element is improved for the change of a magnetic field strength and power consumption is reduced.
