    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel column connection structure which can correct inclination of a column at a steel column connection portion and exerts excellent workability even if a cross section of the connection portions is expanded, and to provide a steel column connection method.
      SOLUTION: The steel column connection structure is provided for butting connection surfaces of the upper and lower steel columns 1, 2 against each other to connect the steel columns 1, 2 to each other. The connection surfaces 31, 32 of the upper and lower steel columns 1, 2 are formed into a convex surface and a concave surface having the same radius of curvature a so as to accommodate adjustment of a connection angle between the steel columns 1, 2. Thus when the connection surfaces 31, 32 are connected together, centers of curvature of the respective connection surfaces conform to each other, and therefore relative rotational deviation between the connection surfaces in every direction is allowed around the centers of curvature.
