    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive membrane which is a proton conductive thin membrane of perovskite structure oxide having high proton conductivity and slight defect of membrane such as a pinhole and excellent in adhesion property with a hydrogen permeable base, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same, a hydrogen permeable structure using the proton conductive membrane and a fuel cell using the hydrogen permeable structure. SOLUTION: On a surface of the hydrogen permeable base, an evaporation source including an alkaline earth metal A, an element B selected from cerium, zirconium, titanium and hafnium and a trivalent element M is used to provide the proton conductive membrane on which oxide including A, B and M are vapor-deposited with a high frequency ion plating method using high frequency output from 10W to 1kW and DC bias voltage from 10V to 10kV.
