摘要： Power is taken out from radio waves through an antenna and a power receiving unit. A signal receiver, a comparator, and an ID signal holder are operated with the taken-out power to compare an ID contained in a received signal with an ID read out from the ID signal holder. When both the ID's are matched with each other, a switch for a main power source is turned on. In trying to remotely operate household electrical appliances by utilizing the Internet that has become increasingly popular, standby power is consumed if the electrical appliances are kept in a standby state at all times. Since power is taken out from radio waves, the invention is able to cut the standby power in an environment where the radio waves are transferred via radio communication that is expected to be more and more prevalent in future.

The system transmits advertisement information requested by an advertiser to distribute it to a base station specified by the advertiser and calculates an advertisement fee charged to the advertiser based on a customer history received from an exclusive device installed at the shop associated with the advertisement.

Furthermore, a circuit region 3 on a main surface of an SOI substrate, and a isolating region 9c defined by insulating isolation trenches 4c and 4d are connected by a wiring resistor, or a diffused resistor 11d in the SOI substrate. The isolating region 9c and an intermediate region 9 are connected by a wiring resistor, or a diffused resistor 11c in the SOI substrate. As a result, distribution of voltage applied between the circuit regions 2 and 3 by the wiring resistors or the diffused resistors 11a to 11d can increase the withstand voltage of a semiconductor integrated circuit.

摘要： An image copying system is disclosed which has a thermal head energized at a strobe current supply time rate corresponding to a current head temperature according to a preset strobe current supply time rate control characteristics. In copying operation at a standard speed, a read sensor 211 reads an image by performing N main scans in one sub scan. A signal processor 221 validates the image signal thus read once every N scans according to a selection signal from a mode control circuit 401. A record circuit 311 having a thermal head performs one main scan every sub scan. During a copying operation at a speed N times the standard speed, the sub scan speed is made N times and the read sensor 211 reads the image by performing one main scan every sub scan and the signal processor 221 makes the read image signal always valid by the selection signal. The record device 311 performs one main scan every sub scan. A single A/D converter is used for A/D converting head temperature as well as other output signal.

摘要： A primary side circuit and a secondary side circuit are provided on first and second semiconductor substrates, respectively. A first capacitive insulator on the first substrate electrically insulates and isolates between the primary and secondary side circuits while permitting signal transmission between these circuits. A second capacitive insulator on the second semiconductor substrate electrically isolates the primary and secondary side circuit while permitting signal transmission therebetween. First and second frames are provided for input and output of signals to and from the primary and secondary side circuits. External electrodes of the first and second capacitive insulators are connected together by a third lead frame via a conductive adhesive body including more than one solder ball. The first and second substrates and the lead frames are sealed by a dielectric resin.
