摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect resistors provided in a housing. SOLUTION: Two male side terminal metal fittings 5 can be stored in a cavity 4 formed in a male housing 1, and the rear ends of both male side terminal metal fittings 5 are connected by lead wires 10 via resistors 11. A mount face 32 for mounting the resistors 11 is formed on the upper face of a main body section 2. A cover 31 covering the upper section of the mount face 32 is integrally formed on a retainer 15 for double-locking the male side terminal metal fittings 5. Two male side terminal metal fittings 5 are stored in the cavity 4, and the resistors 11 are mounted on the mount face 32 with the lead wires 10 folded. When the retainer 15 is fitted, both male side terminal metal fittings 5 are double-locked, the resistors 11 are stored in a storage groove 34, and the cover 31 covers the upper section of the mount face 32 to protect the resistors 11.

When the front end of the jig 30 is hooked to a retainer 20 to displace the retainer 20 from a main locking position to a temporary locking position through lever action, the swing of the jig 30 in the width direction is regulated by the ribs 16 to stabilize control.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the infiltration of dust and the like into a hood portion in a connector equipped with the hood portion containing the other connector. SOLUTION: An engage piece portion 16 is forward protrudlingly provided on the bottom ace of a connector housing 10 in a female-side connector F. While a hood portion 31 for containing the female connector F is formed, and a door 51 for blocking the containing mouth 32 of the hood 31 is turnably provided in a male-side connector M. The door 50 is energized in a direction, blocking the containing mouth 32 by a plate spring 56. A push-down piece portion 53, engaged with the engage piece 16 so as to push down the door 50 against energizing force, is formed on the door 50. When the female-side connector F is fitted into the hood portion 31, the engage piece portion 16 is engaged with the push-down piece portion 53 so as to push down the door 50 with its fitting operation, thereby containing the female side connector F in the hood portion 31 via the opened containing mouth 32.

In the non-fitting state and the incomplete fitting state, since the slide piece 33 stays in the holder part 31, a fixing piece of the bracket cannot be inserted, and in the perfect fitting state, since the slide piece 33 is unlocked, the slide piece 33 is pushed out and the fixing piece can be inserted into the holder part 31.

SOLUTION: Housing cylinder parts 6 for constituting terminal housing chambers 7 are provided in a female housing 1. A sealing member 3 is formed into a cap shape so as to cover the front surface of the housing cylinder part 6 to its outer peripheral part. Locking projection parts 41 elastically contacted with the outer surface of the housing cylinder parts 6 are formed in the inner surface of the sealing member 3. The locking projecting part 41 is formed such that its tip faces obliquely backward in the fitting direction. When the sealing member 3 is fitted, the locking projecting parts 41 are slid on a surface corresponding to the housing cylinder parts 6 and pushed in while being elastically deformed so as to be laid. The sealing member 3 is easily fitted with small resistance, once this member 3 is fitted, the locking projecting parts 41 bits into the outer surface of the housing cylinder part 6 and thus the sealing member 3 is firmly held so as to be prevented from being pulled out.

After the cover 15 is assembled, the cover 15 is turned by 90 deg. while the connection sections 19 are bent in separate directions, and the cover 15 is locked in the turned state. The electric wires 3 are extracted while they are perpendicularly bent and aligned in a line.

CONSTITUTION:When a female housing 2 is inserted, a cancelling projecting part 21 pushes a first projecting part 17, and a spring seat 15 pushes a second projecting part 18 to enlarge elastic pieces 11 and shrinks a spring member 13 elastically. Under the imperfect-engagement condition, when the pushing operation is stopped, the housing 2 is pushed to return by the reaction force of the spring member 13. When the housing 2 is pushed further and both housings 1, 2 are engaged with each other perfectly, the spring seat 15 is locked with the second projecting part 18, and the reaction force thereof is eliminated to maintain the engagement condition. At the time of cancelling the engagement, when the housing 2 is pulled up, the cancelling projecting part 21 pushes the first projecting part 17 to enlarge the elastic pieces 11, and the locking of the second projecting part 18 with the spring seat 15 is cancelled, and the spring member 13 returns to the original non-engagement condition.
