    • The present invention relates to a vibration-proofing device which supports an upper structure (11), on a lower structure (12), to allow the upper structure (11) to swing, thereby isolating earthquakes, traffic vibrations and vibrations from the equipment installed in another room so as to protect the upper structure (11) from vibrations. An object of the Invention is to provide a bearing type of vibration-proofing device which absorbs not only horizontal but also vertical components of vibrations. The invention provides an arrangement wherein interposed between upper (11) and lower (12) structures are rolling bodies for horizontally supporting the upper structure for swing movement, the device being characterized in that the rolling bodies (17,18) are in the from of cylindrical rollers and elastomeric bodies (14) are interposed between the cylindrical rollers (17,18) and the upper (11) and lower (12) structures. In the present invention, it is desirable that the cylindrical rollers (17,18) be stacked in n rows and that these rows of cylindrical rollers form an angle of 180 DEG /n. Further, it is more desirable that air spring (28) or coil spring (26) means be disposed vertically of the cylindrical rollers and that a plurality of taper rollers be radially arranged in a horizontal plane vertically of the cylindrical rollers (17,18).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and uniformly heat and vulcanize the whole body in a short time even in a laminated rubber bearing of large size by heating a rubber layer through a metal plate heated by an electromagnetic induction heating means. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic induction heating means 10 is provided with an outer work coil 11 to be wound around a unvulcanized laminated rubber bearing 1A, and a transmitter 12 connected to the outer work coil 11. Consequently, an eddy current by induction electromotive force is generated even in each metal plate buried within the rubber, and the whole body of the laminated rubber bearing 1A can be heated from the inner part by the self-heating of the metal plate. Thus, the thermal loss is minimized with a high heat efficiency by combining it with the electromagnetic induction heating, and the generated energy per unit time is increased, so that the heating to a high temperature can be performed in a short time. In preheating by the electromagnetic induction heating means 10, the rubber temperature in the laminated rubber 1A can be uniformly and quickly preheated to a temperature close to the vulcanizing temperature, and the vulcanizing time in main heating can be significantly shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To exhibit a bigger capacity of bearing a vertical load and an excellent vibration- proof capacity by providing a supporting body for a pair of roller groups arranged up and down in a condition of rollers crossing each other, and a pair of guides having rolling surfaces for receiving the rollers and protruded walls. CONSTITUTION:An upper roller group 7 has a plurality of rollers 10,..., made of a hard material, lined up in parallel close together in the X direction and supported by a shaft in a freely rotatable manner in the upper portion of a frame body 9, and a lower roller group 8 has a plurality of rollers 11,..., made of a hard material, lined up in parallel close together in the Y direction and supported by a shaft in a freely rotatable manner in the bottom portion of the frame body 9. Each roller 10,... of the upper roller group 7 and each roller 11,... of the lower roller group 8 are arranged up and down with the rollers crossing each other and the upper and the lower roller groups 7, 8 are protruded beyond the upper and lower opening ends of the frame body 9. Upper and lower guides 5, 6 have flat shaped rolling surfaces 12, 13 to receive each roller 10,... 11,... of the upper and the lower roller groups 7, 8 and protruded walls 18, 19 protruding/erecting beyond/on both sides of the rolling surfaces 12, 13 are formed to prevent rollers 10,... 11,... from departing from the rolling surfaces 12, 13 by regulating the rolling direction of the rollers 10,..., 11,... on the rolling surfaces 12, 13.
