摘要： Disclosed is rubber composition which can preferably be used for components requiring high damping capacity such as rubber dampers for use in structures, public works, vehicles, oversize powered machines, and heavy weight structures; and general purpose dampers for use in sound products, a variety of meters, the components of the vehicles, and the like in the case of a little amount of use. The rubber composition has a complex shear elastic modulus of 1-20 kg/cm and a Tan delta of 0.40-1.5 at 30 DEG C under a frequency of 0.5 Hz +/- 50 % comprising: a) x parts by weight of a filler for use in rubber; b) y parts by weight of carbon black having an iodine adsorption of 20-120 mg/g; and c) 100 parts by weight of polyisobutylene; wherein the value x and y satisfy the relation that: x /= 100.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and uniformly heat the whole object without excessively increasing the size of an induction heater having a C-shaped iron core even for the object to be heated having a large size to such extent that it sticks out from a magnetic pole face in the induction heater. SOLUTION: This induction heater is provided with an induction heater main body 2 in which an induction coil 6 is wound around a C-shaped iron core 5 provided with a space H between opposite magnetic pole faces S1 and S2 and a rotation support means 3 supporting an object to be heated W arranged in the space H rotatably, around a central line J substantially parallel with a magnetic path 8h passing through the space H. Consequently, it is possible to heat the whole object efficiently and uniformly even if the object to be heated W has a large size to such extent that it sticks out of the magnetic pole faces.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reduction in the bridge point density of vulcanized rubber for reversion generated in the vicinity of an outer periphery so as to prevent reductions in elasticity and strength by adding, to a soft layer, heat resistant rosslinking agents capable of thermally forming a stable bridging instead of a sulfur bridging during over-vulcanization. SOLUTION: A plurality of soft and binding layers 2 and 3 are alternately stacked between two disk connecting flanges 1. The soft layer 2 is formed by vulcanizing a rubber composition containing base material rubber, sulfur as vulcanizing agents and teat resistant rosslinking agents capable of thermally forming a more stable bridging instead of a bridging during over-vulcanization. By the heat resistant rosslinking agents, bridging is selectively formed in a part of the soft layer 2 where reversion occurs because of over-vulcanization, and thereby reductions in elasticity and strength are suppressed and these are made uniform. Thus, a base isolation support structure M having good vibration damping and breakdown resistance characteristics is provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve base-isolation and damping characteristics and also antibreakdown and anticreeping properties by first, kneading a soft layer to be laminated on a rigid constraining layer with an unvulcanized base material rubber and a specific carbon black, without addition of an additive, then kneading these kneaded materials with a liquid additive and vulcanizing this mixture. SOLUTION: This base-isolation pivotally supporting structure M is equipped with two disc-like connecting flanges 1, 1, multitier disc-like soft layers 2... laminated alternately between both connecting flanges 1, 1 and constraining layers 3... A base material rubber which constitutes a soft layer 2 contains a carbon black, as a reinforcing agent, which has a nitrogen specific surface of 20-70 m /g, a dibutylphthalate oil absorption of 10-175 ml/100 g and a particle diameter. Further, the carbon black is uniformly dispersed by kneading an unvulcanized base material rubber and the carbon black as the reinforcing agent in such a state that a liquid additive is not added and this mixture is heated at a specified temperature and is pressed at a specified pressure.

In that case, the material is a mixture in the weight ratio of (95:5)-(75:25) between copolymer bromide and polymer polyisobutylene. As a result, copolymer bromide of isobutylene and paramethylstyrene has a close vulcanized velocity to that of NR, etc., forming the soft layer 2, and a good covulcanizate is formed from NR., etc. By the constitution, the base isolation structural body is provided with the coating layer 4 excellent in air insulating efficiency, weathering resistance and vulcanization-adhesiveress to the soft layer 2 to have a long durable life.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive rubber composition of excellent workability having less electric resistance irregularity, less change of resistance over aging, and less dependency of resistance on an applied voltage by setting carbon black to be contained to a specific number of parts by weight to specific base rubber. SOLUTION: As base rubber, epichlorohydrin-polypylene oxide-allyl glycidylether copolymer rubber is used. To the base rubber 100 parts by weight, carbon black is blended 5-90 parts by weight. When the value is less than this range, its conductivity is insufficient, and when it exceeds the range, stability of an electric resistance or dependency on an applied voltage become large, or electric resistance irregularity or unstable change over again occurs. As additives, vulcanizing agent, foaming agent, vulcanization accelerator, antioxidant, softening agent, plasticizer, reinforcing agent, filler, or the like, may be used, where those other than vulcanizing agent such as tetramethylthiuram disulfide are to be blended as necessary.
