摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a bearing load with an other method not requiring a cost in the case a main cylinder is turned to inoperative by detachably arranging a bearing load imparting device which releases a bearing load with disengaging a slider from a main cylinder irrelevant to a sliding load of the slider. SOLUTION: When a bearing load is not released with using a cylinder 10, by demounting a bearing load link 33 and approaching an emergency bearing load release cylinder to a C shape bracket 5a of a housing end part, pins are inserted from an opening 5b. A distance between two pins is made equal to a distance of two pairs of the C shape brackets 5a, 32a, by turning the cylinder, the pins are accommodated in the C shape brackets 32a, by turning a working direction of two faces of the pins so as to align to a axial direction of the emergency bearing load releasing cylinder, the cylinder is mounted to a slide gate. When supplying a pressurized oil, a cylinder rod of the emergency bearing load releasing cylinder is retracted, a joining fixture 32 to joined thereto and a bearing load bar are moved a right side, the bearing load is released.

The plural number of metal discharge units are divided into a plural groups, and after the refractory 3N1 , 3N2 belonging to a group are replaced, the molten metal container is to be sent for casting, and, then, the refractory 3N1 , 3N2 of the other group is replaced. The number of the refractory replacement devices are less than that of the molten metal container discharging unit, and refractory replacement device replaces a part of the refractories attached to the bottom of the container.

CONSTITUTION: Fin-like projecting parts 5a formed in a direction orthogonal with a sliding direction of the sliding plate 17 among plural sheets of refractory plates inserted and held between a housing 5 fixed to the base of the vessel for molten steel and a cover 21 are provided with spring cases 26 inserted with springs. Both ends of these spring cases are provided with links extending downward and these links are provided with hook-shaped surface pressure bars 31 movable to positions facing the spring cases while these bars are guided by a cover when the cover is closed. These hook-shaped surface pressure bars are selectively connected to the sliding blocks. The hook-shaped surface pressure bars are moved together with sliding of the sliding plate, by which the housing and the cover are connected and the surface pressure by the springs is applied on the sliding plate. As a result, the surface pressure loading and releasing operations are easily and smoothly carried out without freshly adding an actuator at the time of exchanging the refractories of the sliding gate.

In this case, a hoop ring 14 is thermally inserted in a periphery of the bottom end part of a nozzle body 10 of the upper nozzle, and the upper end face can be abutted to the bottom face of a base plate 7 mounted to the bottom of an outer iron skin 2 of the tundish, so that a positioning ring 15 is fixedly engaged on the periphery of the ring 14.
