摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement method and a device for refractory for the molten metal container capable of finishing a refractory replacement work in a short time without causing a deterioration to the container, and keeping the cost of equipment low. SOLUTION: This is related to the replacement method of the refractory for the molten metal container to replace the refractory 3N1 -3N6 installed on the molten metal container 1, which is equipped with a plural number of metal discharge units. The plural number of metal discharge units are divided into a plural groups, and after the refractory 3N1 , 3N2 belonging to a group are replaced, the molten metal container is to be sent for casting, and, then, the refractory 3N1 , 3N2 of the other group is replaced. The number of the refractory replacement devices are less than that of the molten metal container discharging unit, and refractory replacement device replaces a part of the refractories attached to the bottom of the container.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the thickness of a mortal layer applied on the surface of outer circumference of an upper nozzle adequately by providing a nozzle moving means that is movable in the direction of up and down of the upper nozzle that is arranged to a turntable or approaching or separating from the upper nozzle. SOLUTION: The edge part of the applying nozzle 10 of an applying nozzle main body that is set at point P1 is moved at low speed to a point P2 injecting mortar and applies a predetermined quantity of mortar. When the applying nozzle 10 reaches the point P2 , the rising or moving of the applying nozzle 10 and the injection of mortar are stopped and the applying nozzle 10 retreats to a point P3 horizontally. After the retreat, the applying nozzle 10 descends to a point P keeping the state of stopping the injection of mortar. Then, the applying nozzle 10 moves from the point P4 to a point P5 at low speed injecting mortar, applies the predetermined quantity of mortar, moves from the point P5 to a point P6 at high speed and applies the predetermined quantity of mortar. As the result of this, the outer circumference on an introducing side is coated with mortar thickly and the discharging side is coated with mortar thinly.

In this case, a waste guide plate 78 extending from the preheating furnace to the deck opening side is installed to the upper part of the preheating furnace 73.

摘要： PURPOSE: To automate the removing work of a lower nozzle and to prevent the breakage of a holder of the lower nozzle by working a cylinder of a nozzle removing device to erect a waste pot, and directly storing a removed lower nozzle into the waste pot. CONSTITUTION: A lower nozzle 6 of a molten metal storing vessel fitted to the bottom of a flow rate control device 7 is loaded on a nozzle holding arm 9, and in this condition, the tip part of the nozzle holding arm 9 is lowered. Then, a cylinder 14 of a nozzle removing device 10 is worked to erect a waste pot 13. The waste pot 13 can be erected by contracting a piston rod of the cylinder 14 because a link 13b connected to the piston rod of the cylinder 14 is integrated with a connection rod 13a. When the waste pot 13 is erected, the lower nozzle 6 of the molten metal storing vessel to be held by the nozzle holding arm 9 of the flow rate control device 7 is stored inside from an opening part of the waste pot 13.

The device 24 for automatically discriminating the single crystallization calculates a distance between a horizontal standard position line preliminarily set in the photographed image and used for measuring the distance and the lowest end of the meniscus of the semiconductor crystal in the image photographed with the CCD camera 21 by an image treating method, and detects as the appearance of the seam line showing single crystallization, when the measured distance is not larger than a preliminarily set threshold value. The control device 25 for pulling up the single crystal controls the automatic transfer of the treating process of the semiconductor single crystal production device from a seed process to a neck process according to the discrimination result of the device 24 for automatically discriminating the single crystallization.
