    • A transmitting/receiving method and an apparatus for a phase estimation of a subcarrier in an uplink in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system are provided to use effectively a restrict resource by performing a data transmission process and a subcarrier tracking process at the same time. A base station for allocating resources to users determines whether a user is a VoIP user(501). Whether the user is the VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) user, the base station determines whether the user is located on a cell boundary(503). When the user is located on the cell boundary, first or two subcarriers are allocated to the user(505) and a proper modulation/demodulation scheme is determined. When the user is not the VoIP user or the user is not located on the cell boundary, the base station determines whether the user is a high speed user(507). When the user is the high speed user and a frequency selective fading atmosphere is detected(509), the base station uniformly allocates resources on an overall frequency band(511). The base station allocates the resources according to a conventional scheme(513).

    • A temporary identifier generation method of a mobile terminal for resource allocation in a mobile communication system, a resource allocation information transceiving device using the method, and a method thereof are provided to reduce the number of requested bits of an identifier of a terminal allocated with a lot of resources, thereby more saving an amount of data of resource allocation information. Plural nodes are generated according to each node identifier for indicating plural mobile terminals, and the generated nodes are arranged on the basis of frequency information of resource allocation(501,503). At least one internal node which has two nodes having the smallest frequency information values as child nodes is generated, and frequency information of the internal nodes is calculated(505,507). Until the at least one internal node becomes one route node, nodes which include the internal nodes are repeatedly arranged according to the frequency information except the child nodes(509). A path which reaches nodes located at an end portion from the route node is configured as binary information in a tree structure of the generated nodes, to generate temporary identifiers(511-517).

In the first control hold state, the dedicated traffic channel is released while the dedicated control channel and a reverse pilot channel are maintained. A transition is made from the first control state to a second control hold state when there is no user or control data to transmit for a second preset time. In the second control hold state, which is a resource save sub-state, the transmission outputs of the dedicated control channel and reverse pilot channel are interrupted to conserve power.
