    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing toner by which low-temperature fixability, hot offset resistance, glossiness of color toner and good image quality such as transparency in an OHP can be obtained. SOLUTION: The method of fixing toner uses a belt fixing unit having a fixing roller; a heating roller; an endless fixing belt binding these rollers under tension therebetween; a pressure roller disposed to face the fixing roller intervening the fixing belt; and a fixing heater disposed inside one or both of the pressure roller and the heating roller.
