    • An automatic coffee machine, has a heating device (5), which has a heating chamber (6), which is formed from a stationary arranged pipe section (4) with a vertical axis (9) as well as two stoppers (7, 8). An axial drive for moving the upper stopper (7) on a turning arm (29) into and out of the pipe section (4) is provided. A vertical drive for the lower stopper (8) is provided. A driven swivel wiper (32) serves to remove a tablet of coffee grounds. The upper stopper (7) is solidly attached to the turning arm (29). a single motor (10) with a following power divider (16) is provided for the axial drive and for the pivot drive of the turning arm (29) with the upper stopper (7) as well as the drive of the swivel wiper (32). The power divider (16) has a stroke-like driven pivot column (15), an axially secured guide bushing (17), and a stationary grooved bushing (18). The guide bushing (17) and the grooved bushing (18) each have a guiding slot (27, 23) for a crosshead (28), which is connected to the pivot column (15).

    • An automatic coffee machine, in particular for the preparation of individual cups and small pots, is equipped with an instantaneous water heater (1) for the preparation of hot water, an installation for the feeding of coffee powder and a brewing device incorporating a brewing chamber (17) consisting of a stationary tube section (11) with vertical axis (12) and two locking pieces (15, 16). There is an axial drive (33) for the motion of the upper locking piece (16) in the direction of the axis (12) 0f the tube section (11) and a radial drive (31) for the radial motion in relation to this axis (12). The upper locking piece (16) carries the hot-water inlet into the brewing chamber (17), it consists of two parts, i.e. a supporting piece (67) and an at least partly conical centering piece (68). The centering piece (68) is equipped with only one gasket (28) for the sealing of the brewing chamber (17) on the one hand and the sealing of the hot water inlet on the other hand. The centering piece (68) is accommodated on the supporting piece (67) with both limited axial and radial moveability. The gasket (28) is of such a diameter and is designed in accordance with the upper margin (80) of the tube section (11) in such a way that by actuating the axial drive (33) acting on the supporting piece (67), the gasket (28)--after being centered by the centering piece (68)--will rest on the upper margin (80) functioning as stopper and valve rest. The lower locking piece (15) is of piston-like design and may be moved with its gasket (18) by a vertical drive only within the tube section (11).

    • An automatic coffee machine (1) includes a sliding block (28) fixedly connected to a housing (2). A brewing unit (5) includes an upper and a lower locking element (7, 8) and a vertical tube section (4). The upper locking element (7) is alternately moved in a brewing position, a stand-by position and a parking position. The upper locking element (7) in the brewing position protrudes into the tube section (4) to attain a brewing chamber (6). The upper locking element (7) in the stand-by position does not protrude into the tube section (4) and the axis of the upper locking element (7) is aligned with the axis (9) of the tube section (4). The upper locking element (7) in the parking position does not protrude into the tube section (4) and the axis of the upper locking element (7) is not aligned with the axis (9) of the tube section (4). A pivot column (15) connected to the upper locking element (7) is moved in an axial direction, and it is rotated about its axis. The pivot column (15) includes a sliding path (23) including a first portion (24) parallel to the axis of the pivot column (15) and a second portion (25) extending in a way similar to a thread. The sliding block (28) engages the first portion (24) to alternately attain the brewing position and the stand-by position. The sliding block (28) engages the second portion (25) to alternately attain the stand-by position and the parking position.
