    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling combined waste containing spent automobiles or domestic electric products as raw materials and fuels for iron or non-iron metals regeneration. SOLUTION: The method for recycling the combined waste has a reuse process for recovering reusable parts from the combined waste containing spent automobiles or domestic electric products, a recycle process for crushing and sorting the residual material after the reusable parts is recovered to produce base materials recyclable as resources and a manufacturing process of iron or non-iron metals using the recyclable base material as the raw materials and fuels. In a method for recycling the automobile waste, winding wire wound around an armature of a motor contained in the automobile waste and a conductor for the power source and the control of the motor are made from Al or an Al alloy, a commutator of the motor is made from stainless steel or iron and these recyclable base materials are used as the raw materials and fuels for the manufacturing process of iron.     • PURPOSE:To contribute to the production of a clean steel by plugging a molten steel discharging hole in a ladle with variation of tension and then, holding the immersing depth of a float into the molten steel from the interface to the immersing depth, where slag does not flow out from the molten steel discharging hole, at the time of detecting variation of the tension in the end period of pouring. CONSTITUTION:The interface between the slag layer 5 and the molten steel 4, is detected with the float 15 held by hanging with a rope-like body 14 on the way of pouring the molten steel in the ladle 1. The float 15 is immersed into the molten steel 4 at the prescribed depth, and the molten steel is discharged under this condition, and variation of buoyance of the float 15 developed with action of molten steel stream flowing out from the molten metal discharging hole 2 at the end period of pouring, is detected with a tension measuring instrument 16 through the rope-like body 14. Based on the detection, the molten metal discharging hole 2 is plugged. At this time, the immersing depth of float 15 into the molten steel 4 from the interface is held to the immersing depth or the neighborhood thereof, where the slag 5 does not flow out from the molten steel discharging hole 2, at the time of detecting the variation of tension in the end period of pouring. By this method, entrapping of the slag and the flow-out of slag can be stably prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a furnace body, by which a furnace bell part expanded by strain developed in a converter furnace body is removed only by changing a part without wholly changing the converter furnace body and further, a furnace top outer shell, the furnace bell outer shell and a furnace bottom outer shell can be integrated without developing any difference of the surface level. SOLUTION: In the repairing method of the trunnion ring type converter furnace body, thus converter furnace body is composed of the furnace top outer shell, furnace belly outer shell and the furnace bottom outer shell and arranged with upper brackets and lower brackets for fitting the trunnion rings to the furnace top outer shell and the furnace berry outer shell, respectively. Then, after cutting and removing the furnace belly outer shell and the lower part of the furnace top outer shell expanded in the outer direction of the converter by the converter operation, the furnace top outer shell and the furnace bottom outer shell are connected with a new manufactured furnace belly outer shell through an upper surface difference adjusting plate and a lower surface difference adjusting plate.

    • PURPOSE: To retain non-oxidizing atmosphere inside a ladle by a construction wherein two semi-divided rings are connected to fitting-removing devices for fitting the semi-divided rings to the outer peripheral surfaces of joining parts of the ladle and an upper cover and removing them therefrom and seal the ladle and the upper cover hermetically. CONSTITUTION: A ladle 2 holding molten steel 1 is set on a truck 8, while sealing devices 9 of the ladle are disposed in directions on the opposite sides of the ladle 2. The sealing devices 9 of the ladle are provided with elevating devices 10 for moving semi-divided rings 7 in the vertical direction respectively. After the semi-divided ring 7 is moved by the elevating device 10 to a prescribed height, i.e., a position at which it coincides with a joining part of the ladle 2 and an upper cover 4, the semi-divided ring 7 is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the joining part of the ladle 2 and the upper cover 4 by a fitting- removing device 11 and thereby sealing can be conducted. According to this constitution, non-oxidizing atmosphere inside the ladle 2 can be retained.
