    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation system for being boosted toward a city center region, which is constructed high above a road, and which can reduce construction costs by minimally performing minimum separation from existing automobile traffic etc. by minimum three-dimensional construction, and maintaining competitive power while being equipped with punctuality and quick-delivery properties.
      SOLUTION: In the complex transportation system for the city center region, a lower traveling passage 1, which has a plurality of traffic lanes and in which a platform 2 is provided in a central section; an upper traveling passage 3, which has an approximately T-shaped cross section and which has the minimum width of a beam set high above the platform 2 in the central portion of the lower traveling passage 1, an island-like station 4, which is constructed in the central section of the upper traveling passage 3, a vertical hoisting/lowering passage (elevator) 5, which is positioned in the central portion of the island-like station 4, so as to connect the traveling passages 3 and 1 together, and direction-of-inclination hoisting/lowering passages (moving staircases or staircases) 6 and 7, which are provided in the upstream and downstream sections of the island-like station 4, respectively, so as to connect the traveling passages 3 and 1 together, are constructed.
