    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating circadian rhythm disorders by regulating circadian rhythm periods, and a fundamental treating method of diseases caused by the circadian rhythm disorders, and also an established cell line suitable for the screening of a substance capable of regulating such the circadian rhythm periods.
      SOLUTION: This circadian rhythm disorder-improving agent or the preventing or treating agent of the diseases caused by the circadian rhythm disorders is characterized by containing a substance acting as an activating agent or inhibitor of protein kinase C. The kit for screening the substance capable of regulating the circadian rhythm periods is provided by containing an established recombinant NIH3T3 cell stably holding luciferase gene transcribed and controlled by Bmal1 promotor.
