    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a near miss of a train from occurring by controlling the aspect of a relay signal based on the existence of a train in a train detecting section between the relay signal and a main signal.
      SOLUTION: A track is divided into 1 to 3 blocked sections of a specified length, and the main signals S1 to S3 are provided at boundaries P1 to P3 of respective blocked sections 1 to 3. Also, the relay signal Sd is provided at a track position Pd which is away backward from the main signal S2 by a specified distance in the train advancing direction. The aspect of the relay signal Sd is controlled while making it correspond to the aspect of the main signal S2. Also, when the train exists in the train sensing section d between the relay signal Sd and the main signal S2, the aspect of the relay signal Sd is controlled to be a stoppage relay aspect regardless of the aspect of the main signal S2.
