    • PURPOSE: To improve rust preventive performance by heating wax or a material to be coated to more than a specified temp., coating the wax on the material to be coated, cooling the material, infiltrating the wax into the narrow part of the material to be coated, and keeping the film thickness.
      CONSTITUTION: At least one between wax, whose viscosity is increased when cooled to or close to ordinary temp. and having thixotropy, and a material to be coated with the wax is heated. After said heating, the wax is coated on the material to be coated, and then the coated material is cooled to or close to ordinary temp. Consequently, the wax is surely infiltrated into the narrow part of the material to be coated, the film thickness of wax can be kept constant, the rust preventive property can be improved, and further the dripping of the wax can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the quality of a product by molding a resinous molded body itself so that a level difference may be formed between the unpainted part and the painted part, and forming an overcoat coated film on the surface of the uncoated part so that a level difference may not be formed after a in- mold release agent is coated.
      CONSTITUTION: The first masking member 13 having specified thickness is set on a part of the inner peripheral surface of a cavity 11 of a metal mold 10 on the fixed side, and a release agent 15 is coated on the inner peripheral surface of the cavity 11 which is not coated with the masking member 13. The second masking member 17 is set to form a specified level difference with the release agent-coated surface, a metal mold 19 on the movable side is clamped on the metal mold 10 on the fixed side, a resin is injected into the cavity 11, a resinous molded article with the in-mold release agent 15 is taken out from the inside of the molds, and an overcoat paint is coated on the painted surface and baked. Namely, the overcoat coated film is formed so that a level difference may not be formed, and the surface of the coated film can be made almost flush with the surface of the unpainted part.

    • PURPOSE:To permit color matching, uniformity of durability quality and reduction of a painting cost by using a paint essentially consisting of a resin having =400% at 20 deg.C and >=100% at -20 deg.C as a universal primer. CONSTITUTION:The paint essentially consisting of the resin having =400% at 20 deg.C and >=100% at -20 deg.C is used. Various pigments may be incorporated therein. An ordinary org. solvent, and as necessary, a surface conditioning agent, settlement preventive agent, photo- and thermal deterioration preventive agent, etc., are compounded therewith. An automobile body panel 1 is degreased and a chemical conversion film 2 and an electrodeposition primer film 3 are formed thereon. Resin parts 11 are then attached thereto and a universal primer is coated thereon to form a coated film 4. A known intermediate coated film 5 and a finish coated film 6 are formed thereon and are subjected to baking and curing treatments. Pitting resistance, finish characteristic, and others are improved by the universal coated film and at the same time, the color matching is made possible by painting. The durable quality is thus improved and the cost is reduced.

This configuration is capable of providing the bumper with both excellent weather resistance and high impact properties at low temperature with the provision of an excellent gloss value.
