    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and efficiently form a heat insulating pipe with the same process by foaming a stock solution between the outer surface of an inner pipe and the inner surface of an outer pipe to form a heat insulating layer of cellular plastic. SOLUTION: An application nozzle 16 is positioned outside an inner pipe 2, and continuously moved from the end part of the inner pipe 2 on the mandrel side to the other end in the direction of an arrow B. A stock solution of cellular plastic is supplied from the application nozzle 16 at a specified flow rate to the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The application nozzle 16 is advanced in the direction of the arrow B and the inner pipe 2 is rotated, so that the supply point of the stock solution draws a spiral locus on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The stock solution has fluidity, so that it is diffused to a certain width and applied to the substantially whole outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The stock solution of the applied cellular plastic is gradually foamed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2 and increased in volume to form a heat insulation layer 17 of cellular plastic in a gap between the inner surface of the subsequently advancing outer pipe 1 and the outer surface of the inner pipe 2.

    • PURPOSE:To perform work in a short time by a simple means and moreover restrain the occurrence of the stripping of a coating material in propulsion work by covering a fiber reinforced synthetic resin pipe, divided plurality and formed into specific thickness and length respectively, on the outer periphery of heat contracting coating material covered on a corrosionproof coating layer to be stuck. CONSTITUTION:In right and left butt welded propulsion pipes and pipe end parts, the exposure parts 2a of a corrosionproof coating layer 2 shop-coated are overlapped to be covered by heat contracting coating material to be contracted and collosionproofly coated. Then the inner surface and end part of a halved fiber reinforced synthetic resin pipe 6 are stuck by adhesive 7. At that time, the total thickness of a joint part is made thinner than the that of the shop-coated corrosionproof coating layer 2 and a protective layer 3, and the fiber reinforced synthetic resin pipe 6, plurally devided and formed into L1 shorter than the end part interval L of the protective layer 3, is used to perform sticking.
