摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to efficiently form a plastic coating film excellent in an appearance property and watertightness on a surface of a heat insulating layer of foaming plastic in the case of manufacturing a heat insulating pipe having the heat insulating layer of foaming plastic on an outer periphery of a pipe and a plastic protective coating film on its surface. SOLUTION: A beltlike plastic film 5 pushed out in a melting condition from a slit nozzle by a T die method, is cooled on a cooling roller 6, and after its temperature is set to a prescribed temperature higher than a softening point temperature of a plastic material, it is wound in a spiral shape while applying pressing force to an outer periphery of a heat insulating layer 2 of foaming plastic. A surface temperature of the plastic film 5 before winding is set higher by 60 to 120 deg.C than a softening point temperature of the plastic material. This temperature is also controlled by adjusting a temperature of the cooling roller 6.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealability and to prevent advancement of the electrochemical corrosion by forming a coating layer with both the watertight sealability and insulation on either of or each of inside surfaces of an edge part of a corrosion resistant metallic sheet, and folding each edge part to join both edge parts in a hooking manner. SOLUTION: An intermediate resin layer 2 is formed as an impact buffer layer on a surface of a steel tube 1, and a strip-shaped corrosion resistant metallic sheet 3 is spirally coiled around its outer circumference. Both edges of the corrosion resistant metallic sheet 3 are joined in a hooking manner, and a coating layer with both the watertight sealability and insulation is formed on an inside surface of either edge. The edge on which a watertight insulation coating layer 4 is formed is outwardly folded, and the other edge adjacent thereto is inwardly double-folded. The folded edges are overlapped, and joined in a hooking manner by applying the force by a pressing means such as a roller with the folded position of the outwardly folded part as the supporting point.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously form a coating layer having an intermediate resin layer by impregnating a belt-like inorganic or organic fiber sheet with a hardenable or thermoplastic resin and winding the sheet together with the belt- like corrosion-resisting metallic sheet which is put on the outside on the outer periphery of the steel tube. SOLUTION: The steel tube 1 is placed on trucks 2 and, while rotating the tube in a direction A with turning rollers 3, the trucks 2 are run on rails 4 and the steel tube is moved in a direction B at a prescribed speed. The belt-like inorganic or organic fiber sheet 5 is delivered, run in a resin impregnating tank 6 in which flowable resin is stored and surplus resin is wringed out so that the belt-like sheet 5 impregnated with the resin becomes a prescribed thickness with pinch rolls 7. The belt-like corrosion-resisting metallic sheet 8 is delivered at a prescribed speed with the pinch rolls 9, the belt-like sheet 5 is put under the metallic sheet, both are closely adhered with the pinch rolls 10 and spirally wound around on the surface of the steel tube 1, and the resin layer is closely adhered to the steel tube 1 with a press bonding roll 11. In this way, the surface coating is continuously formed in one process.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and efficiently form a heat insulating pipe with the same process by foaming a stock solution between the outer surface of an inner pipe and the inner surface of an outer pipe to form a heat insulating layer of cellular plastic. SOLUTION: An application nozzle 16 is positioned outside an inner pipe 2, and continuously moved from the end part of the inner pipe 2 on the mandrel side to the other end in the direction of an arrow B. A stock solution of cellular plastic is supplied from the application nozzle 16 at a specified flow rate to the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The application nozzle 16 is advanced in the direction of the arrow B and the inner pipe 2 is rotated, so that the supply point of the stock solution draws a spiral locus on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The stock solution has fluidity, so that it is diffused to a certain width and applied to the substantially whole outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2. The stock solution of the applied cellular plastic is gradually foamed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe 2 and increased in volume to form a heat insulation layer 17 of cellular plastic in a gap between the inner surface of the subsequently advancing outer pipe 1 and the outer surface of the inner pipe 2.
