    • PURPOSE:To enable inspection of both the front and back of a tape or a planar body with signal passage of the apparatus by arranging a transmission optical system to transmit an image of the back of the tape or the planar body to an objective lens of a magnifying device using an imaging means and four reflectors for bending an optical path by 90 deg.. CONSTITUTION:When the surface of a tape (t) is inspected, a prism 15 facing an objective lens 42 of a stereoscopic microscope 41 is retreated from a transmis sion optical path L of a transmission optical system 11 and the surface is ob served directly through the microscope 41. When the back thereof is inspected, the prism 15 is put back to the optical path L. An image of the back is transmit ted to the lens 42 with an imaging lens 16, a view lens 17 and prisms 12-15 in the optical system 11. The microscope 41 magnifies a real image of the back formed with the lenses 16 and 17. At this point, a distance to the surface of the image from the lens 42 on the optical path L is made almost equal to that to the front of the tape (t) from the lens 42. Thus, there is no need for focusing of the microscope 41. This also eliminates the need for readjusting the magnification of the microscope 41 as the real image of the back is formed almost equal in the magnification on the outgoing side of the lens 17.

    • PURPOSE: To ensure appropriate arrangement fixing of fine metal balls and contrive to considerably enhance mass-productivity by a method wherein a jet stream of a carrying fluid containing the fine metal balls is straightened at a specific location of a flow path and is made to collide with an arrangement substrate at right angles and uniformly, and vacuum-chucked via an arrangement hole of the arrangement substrate. CONSTITUTION: Carrying flow forming/control means 10 forms a flow of carrying fluid along a specific flow path. Next, fine metal balls 1 are sucked and supplied to the flow path. A jet stream of the carrying fluid containing the fine metal balls 1 supplied by fine metal ball supplying means 20 flows into straightening means 30. The straightening means 30 control a flow state of the carrying fluid and flows it to an arrangement substrate 40. The carrying fluid flows through the straightening means 30, whereby it collides with the arrangement substrate 40 at right angles and uniformly, and a flow speed abruptly decreases to cause a stagnation point P. On the other hand, vacuum-chucking means 50 vacuum-chucks from an arrangement hole 40a of the arrangement substrate 40, and the fine metal balls 1 readily and accurately are fixed in the arrangement hole 40a.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the display device which necessitates the smaller occupying area and projecting area necessary for housing and storing, and with which a wide display area is available at the time of use. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of basic units 1 formed into an arbitrary size are disposed with a connecting terminal 3 for image display screen and image information input, means 2 for discriminating image information, means for driving the image display screen and output terminal. The mechanically and electrically integrated one display screen is constituted by connecting the respective basic units 1 to each other. The display area is large and various kinds of the display information are well displayed at the time of use. The display screen are disassembled to each of the basic units 1 and these units are tacked on each other at the time of not using the device to minimize the flat occupying area. This device is thus easy to house, store and carry in spite of its large display area.
